Happy New Year to all our customers.
(If you are having trouble sleeping some Ramblings below to help you drop off).
After some time off over the festive period, I’ve had a little time to reflect on the Year Fishkeeper Dundee has had.
Before we start 2026 and get back to doing what we do best—sharing the love of the hobby with everyone.
I’d like to thank my team in Dundee (past and present) The effort and hard work they put in day after day behind the scenes kept things running smoothly and without it we wouldn’t have had the same success this year.
(On a side note I’d also like to thank The Fishkeeper Scotland family as a whole, the support from the other stores and staff has been amazing and integral to Dundee’s growth).
Many of my personal highlights this year has centred around our fantastic customer base,
It’s been great seeing so many new faces visiting the store, and it’s been an absolute pleasure seeing familiar ones come back time and time again.
I hope you all—like me—see Fishkeeper Dundee as a work in progress. We are constantly trying to improve your experience with every visit, and in the last 12 months we have taken some massive steps in trying to achieve this.
With your continued custom and support one of the biggest highlight this year has been Fishkeeper Dundee attaining a Top 40 UK store ranking for the first time ever.
This has been an amazing achievement and a real boost for the team and something we’re looking at building on in the years to come, every visit-if it’s only been once or several times in a week it has all helping to shape the store going forward.
With that in mind we have so much planned for 2026, and we hope you can continue to share in this Fishkeeping journey with us.
So, from myself (Bryan), Ariel, Dannii, Jorja, Agatha, and Jason—thank you all from Team Fishkeeper Dundee for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
May 2026 bring you the happiness and joy (a new fishtank and Fish) you deserve. 🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳
