Tube Anemones are found in a variety of marine environments, from shallow coastal waters to deeper regions up to 200 meters.They are commonly found in sandy or muddy areas, as well as in seagrass beds. They thrive in areas with gentle currents, which help bring food particles within reach of their tentacles.Tube Anemones belong to the order Ceriantharia, a unique group of anemones distinct from the more commonly known Actiniaria. They are solitary and nocturnal, often retracting into their tubes during the day and extending their tentacles to feed at night. Tube Anemones are also known for their bioluminescence, with some species capable of producing light to attract prey or deter predators.
