⛑️First Aid Training Day ⛑️
The safety of all your dogs is of the up most importance to us here at FSG. We do everything we can to keep them safe but sometimes, accidents do happen. That's why it's vital that we know how best to deal with these situations when they do occur. With that in mind, Wendy and I went to see Mervyn at K9 First Aid for our refresher training today. We successfully completed our Level 2 (VTQ) Canine First Aid Course. This course covers a range of topics including how to deal with cuts, broken bones, choking, hypothermia and shock amongst other illness and injuries. It also Includes comprehensive coverage of how to administer canine CPR.
The aim of this course is to train individuals in how to best care for a dog until a veterinarian can be reached, giving the best possible outcome.
We were joined by our good friends Woody’s Woof Pack , The Canine Collective Fife and . Keeping standards high with some great people.
I would recommend this course whether you are a professional dog walker or just a dog owner who would like to know what to do in an emergency.
Please check out Mervyns website. He comes highly recommended.
