Getting rubbed on the belly, and tickled behind your lugs
That's the kind of life you'd hae if you wir a dug
Daein zoomies roon the living room and lying on the carpet
Taking the blame for the smell when one o yer humans fartet
Sniffing iviryhing that moves and barking at the postie
Stealin food aff the bunker even though yer no supposed tae
I wonder whit ma name wid be - Rover, Jock or Shug
Oh whit a life it wid be if I could be a dug.
