🐾 There has been a lot in the news this week about the CMA report on the Veterinary Market and the transparency of veterinary fees 🐾

We want to reassure our clients as an independent practice 3 Bridges Vets have always been committed to fair, transparent pricing and care that puts pets first - not profits.

Owned by Bruce and Hannah we are proudly independent and not owned or influenced by any of the ‘big 6’ groups.

We do all our own Out of Hours cover. You don't have to travel to another practice in an emergency, and our vets have access to your pet’s history 24 hours a day. Our staff do not work to targets or receive commission and our vets have clinical freedom to offer a choice of options that are right for you and your pet.

We want to say thank you for all our clients continued support and trust 🐾

Also recently joining our vet team is Ella.

Ella graduated from the University of Glasgow in July 2025. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, with a particular interest in medical cases, and she loves working with both small and large animals.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find her at the gym or out exploring with her Labrador, George. Ella is really looking forward to meeting you and your pets soon!

Our new endoscope helped to retrieve the ribbon that Alfie had decided to steal whilst his owners were getting ready for their wedding!

You can see very clearly on the scope pictures the ribbon was sitting in Alfie's stomach and the endoscope allowed us to safely remove it without the need for any surgery for Alfie 🥳

Ribbons are a particular danger when eaten as they can cause the intestinal tract to bunch up and result in an obstruction.
