And today, as in just now, I've changed the page's cover picture. This is the one on our flyers - it has the founding three amigos. Makes my heart sing to see them so bright eyed.

Well FB, what's on my mind is all the fencing that's going on here - some lovely and useful wee paddocks, plus we're starting the job of replacing all the original fencing with Tornado Equine fencing. Works well, looks good, and who needs to eat anyway... πŸ€”πŸ’›

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them.

Well hello folks. Sorry for the radio silence, we've been hot on doing stuff (so much Stuff!) and now we get extra cuddles with the sheep (so good for helping to manage worms) and geese (wonderful weeders, though possibly not so keen on cuddles...!), and we get to play with all the equipment that's arrived.

Anyway, part of the reason for this post, is to share some helpful news - many people are feeling the financial pinch, so we've had a look at our pricing and listened to what some good folk have proposed, and come up with two new pricing packages - one is all in at Β£400 per calendar month, and the other, at Β£300 per calendar month, is all the hands on care that's in the 'all in' and ad lib hay, but hard feed, dentist, farrier, jabs, wormer (if needed, we follow a programme), are extras. The two options give people the flexibility to get the care as they want. More info is on the website, or will be just as soon as I've found all the right words and put them in the right order :-)

Well that was an exciting delivery! Land management is usually at the forefront of our minds, and pretty much always near the top of our daily To Do list, so tools are always an exciting purchase πŸ™ƒ. This one was recommended by a lady on a lovely group. I'm getting to grips with it, though the horses are always in a different paddock to me when I'm using it just in case I get carried away or they get too nosey 🧐. The insulated mug was a happy gift from my daughter - so nice to have tea stay warm! πŸ€—πŸ™ƒ

And we're very pleased to report that the new shelter is still standing πŸ€—. We kept the horses out of that field just in case (they have another shelter), but now I'm happy they can go in there and won't be flying off to Oz, with or without the little dog too! I think little dog is pleased πŸ™ƒ

Oh happy days! The new shelter is up πŸ™ƒπŸ’—. Thank you David and Lee and Emma πŸ€—. Now to remember how to post a picture...

Well folks... We're open! Live! All the big jobs are done, for now at least, and we're ready to welcome retired horses and ponies of all shapes and sizes. We're easy to find being just two miles west off Jnc 4 of the M90.

All horses are out 24/7/365, with good shelters, meaning they keep moving and as supple as they are each able to. It's a full livery package and full details are on our website, although I'll update on this page too when I've learnt how to do it.

Feel free to get in touch :)
