Hello Facebook family ! We are officially back to work tomorrow (Saturday). I have started responding to messages on here but we will also have a lot of call backs and it will take us a few days to get through ...don't worry though we will respond to you all and get your appointments booked in. Just a reminder that it is wise to message a few weeks before your pupper needs done as we are busy or better still we would love for you to book your next appointment when collecting your dog from their current appointment. We have very limited space for January so please plan ahead . Can't wait to see you all again in 2024 💕💕

Goodbye 2023 and Hello 2024. Its hard to believe we are at this point again , another year has passed by and it's a chance for us to reflect back as well as plan for the forthcoming 12 months. Hound-ed has been in business for 18 years now and I can't thank you all enough for the trust you put in myself in the team to look after your furry family. We never underestimate the privilege of being allowed to play a small role in the life of you and your dog.
Being in business so long inevitably means that we have seen and felt your losses along the way , and this year has been no different. We lost several of our older dogs and shed a tear with you during these difficult moments . We don't forget our dogs when we stop cutting their hair , we still talk about dogs years on and remember them fondly with affection. 💞
We also welcomed a pile of little puppies and new clients , filling the salon with laughter and calamity. We look forward to getting to know each and every one of you better and are proud to now call you part of the Hound-ed family.
We also became a three as Kirstie and I welcomed Abby to the grooming team . Abby qualified in February and has spent the remainder of the year cultivating her skills and is now full stream ahead for the forthcoming year.
We were planning a refit for January but it will now likely be later in the year , you may see some smaller changes in the first part of the year as we put some tweaks in place with a view to hopefully offering some training programmes in the new year. We are pretty excited about this and we hope you will support us as you always do in this branching out venture.
I hope you all have a wonderful Hogmanay, spent with your loved ones , taking a moment to reflect on the ones we have lost and step into 2024 making it your best year yet. I can't wait to welcome you all through the door this year and send grateful thanks for continuing to choose my small business . Lang may yer lum reek, happy Hogmanay. xx

IT'S A WRAP!💕 Christmas 2023 is officially done and dusted with over 200 baths and cuts in December . Myself , Kirstie and Abby have been very touched by all the extra gifts , tips and cards we received this month , we are incredibly lucky to have this job and such wonderful, thoughtful customers . So , thank you all. We look forward to welcoming you all back next year and wish you all a restful and merry Christmas 💕💕💕

In the last six months we have lost many of our clients to illness and old age , the majority had been with us for well over decade and we miss and remember each and every one. It's the roughest part of sharing our life with these companions but one we all have to face at some time. I have shared experiences of when I lost my own pets with many of you but I wanted to repeat a couple of links that may help you when the time comes. Our December diary has very , very limited appointments left but we have opened wait list today so if you would like to be in line for a Christmas cancellation then please let us know , cancellations are on a first come , first served basis. Our diary is also open for 2024. I am working a reduced number of Saturdays next year so we advise getting bookings in early . We would love to schedule you for the whole years apps, if that suits, let us know and then you can always have the date and time that suits you , and if things change and you need to reschedule it's no problem :)

Afternoon lovely Facebookers , that's a wrap for this weeks gorgeous doglets. We welcomed Kirstie back this week and it's fabulous to have her back , she is doing a slow phased return as baby Hughie is still only 12 weeks but this does mean we have more space for dogs for Abby so if you know of someone looking for a groomer then please give us a shout.
