The thing I love most about being a Dog Groomer 🐶✂️

One of the things I love most about grooming is the transformation I see in every dog. There's nothing more rewarding than knowing I've helped them look their absolute best while ensuring they feel comfortable and refreshed.

A well-groomed dog isn't just about appearances; it's about their well-being too. Regular grooming keeps their coat healthy, prevents matting, and can even alert us to any skin issues early on. Seeing their happy tails wagging after a grooming session makes it all worthwhile!
If your dog needs a bit of pampering, why not book an appointment with me today? They'll thank you for it!

🎊 Congratulations to Claire Yuill 🎊 who was the first to guess right!

The breed was a Bichon Frise 🤍🐾

The Bichon Frise is a small, cheerful dog breed known for its fluffy white coat and friendly disposition. Originally from the Mediterranean region, the breed was popular among sailors, who used them as companion dogs. The Bichon Frise gained prominence in European royal courts during the Renaissance, particularly in France and Spain, thanks to their charming appearance and affectionate nature. After a decline in popularity, they were revived in the 20th century as companion dogs and are now beloved for their playful, adaptable, and sociable temperament.

1. This breed has a long history, believed to have originated from the Mediterranean area as far back as the 13th century
2. This breed was bred as companion dogs and were particularly popular among European nobility in the 16th century.
3. They are intelligent and eager to please, which makes them relatively easy to train, although consistency is key due to their stubborn nature.

Did you know that skipping grooming appointments can lead to more than just a scruffy look?

When dogs miss their regular grooming sessions, their coats can become matted, which can cause discomfort and even skin issues. These mats can pull on the skin, leading to irritation, inflammation, and sometimes painful sores. Over time, this can require more extensive (and expensive) treatments to get your dog back to feeling their best.

By keeping up with regular grooming, you’re not only keeping your dog looking great but also preventing these issues from developing.
Don’t wait for mats to form—book your next appointment today to keep your dog happy and healthy!
