Apologies for the radio silence! Unfortunately I have been unwell for the best part of a year, I also moved house and relocated to Dunfermline in October 2022 and was juggling a house renovation and being unwell.

However, I am happy to say I’m back up and running (house is getting there) and my 2024 diary is open. Here is a photo of my gang enjoying our new fire 🐾🥰

Rest in peace Paul O’Grady. So sad ❤️

Battersea joins the nation in mourning the loss of Paul O’Grady - an entertainment legend and much-loved Ambassador to our charity. We’d like to extend our deepest sympathies to Paul’s family and friends. To millions Paul O’Grady is the popular TV and radio presenter and comedian who lit up their screens with his razor-sharp humour and perpetual generosity and warmth. Battersea will forever remember Paul as a devoted animal lover with the biggest heart, who fell in love with every dog he met at our centres. Paul will always be associated with Battersea, and we are truly saddened to have lost such a true friend and huge part of our charity.

Emergency foster home required - Glasgow

Heidi is a 5 year old black and tan Smooth coated mini.

Heidi underwent an operation for IVDD 3 weeks ago and is currently still on crate/pen rest. She has been left unable to use her back legs and is double incontinent as such she will require expressing. Heidi was placed in a foster home however unfortunately it is not working out and we believe the environment maybe to busy for her, she has also taken a dislike to the resident cat.

Heidi has started to display quite severe separation anxiety and will bark if she is left alone, there is no history of this and we would hope that in a new environment with a new routine from the start this may be eliminated or a least manageable, we cannot of course guarantee this but will provide behaviour support.

Heidi is good with children and other dogs and she loves fuss and attention.

We are looking for an emergency foster home, ideally we would like someone who would consider adopting Heidi as we love a foster fail. This is not vital however we would like a home who can commit to seeing her through her immediate recovery. Experience is not necessary as we can offer all the support and guidance needed. We also cover all costs related to her IVDD whilst in foster and for 2 years after adoption

RELOCATION 🏡

Hello everyone. As you will know from my previous post I am planning to move away from my current location in Bonnyrigg. I want to update all my existing & future customers by letting you know that my house in Bonnyrigg is under offer and I have purchased a new property in Dunfermline, Fife.

As mentioned previously, Mini Paws is not closing but simply relocating. I will be based in Dunfermline from October onwards (I do not have an exact moving date but it will be at some point in October this year). If anything changes, I will update my business page.

I am moving to Dunfermline to be closer to my daughter and I am confident that I can still provide the same service in Dunfermline. I have contacted all customer’s who are booked in - if anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Dunfermline is a 20 minute drive to/from Edinburgh Airport so if any of my current Edinburgh/Midlothian customers still want to use my services in the future then do not hesitate to contact me 🐶✈️

For now my business address will still show as Bonnyrigg and once I have officially moved I will update my business address on Facebook.

Important update 🐶🏡

Mini Paws will be relocating. Due to unforeseen circumstances I will be moving away from my current address in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian. My house has went on the market today and I will be relocating in the upcoming months.

I don’t have any more information as of yet. If any of our customers have any concerns regarding their bookings, please get in touch.

We will still be operating, Mini Paws isn’t closing, just relocating and I will update this page as soon as I have more information.
