A very nice start to a Tuesday morning for the team 🥰

We loved meeting Scout the Cocker Spaniel puppy for the first time this morning💙

Scout was such a good boy during his health check. As he is a member of the Inglis Vets Care Plan he received a health check and flea and worming treatments today included as part of the plan.

We have found a friend.

White female staffie wearing a tan collar found in Malcolm Street, Dunfermline.

She is mircochipped but unfortunately, the details are not up to date.

She is uninjured and she is currently being looked after in our halbeath hospital, however, we will need to transfer her to Dog Warden soon as she is in good health, she just needs reunited with her humans.

Pet Health Check 🩺

Are you a member of the Inglis Vets Care Plan? You can book in with a nurse for a 6 month health check included in your plan 👍

During a health check our nurses will check your pet from head to toe. We will check for any signs of pain or discomfort and discuss their appetite and behaviour.

We will check your pets:

🐾 Mouth
🐾 Temperature
🐾 Heart rate and rhythm
🐾 Body condition and weight

Sad News. 4th Feb 2025.

We have had a MN DSH cat handed into us deceased.

He was found in Ravencraigs park in Kirkcaldy, down at the beach.

He is not microchipped sadly and doesn't have a collar.

Black with white hind legs and chest. Male neutered. Adult but teeth in good condition.

Meet gorgeous Border Collie Drift 🐾❤️

After undergoing reconstruction of his knee after an unfortunate accident at the beach Drift visits us for weekly hydrotherapy sessions. He has done extremely well with his recovery and rehabilitation and is almost back to his normal self.

He is a lovely boy and has definitely captured all of our hearts! 🥰💙

🚗 Please be aware, when visiting our Healthy Pets branch we now have an ANPR system in the car park so remember to register you vehicle on arrival.
If you are unsure please ask a member of the team who will be happy to help! 👍

Today is lovely Lee-Ann's last day with Inglis Vets 😢♥️

As Client Care Manager Lee-Ann has been a huge part of the Inglis team for over 30 years and we would like to thank her for all her hard work and commitment when caring for the team and for always being there to provide the best service to our clients and their beloved pets. ⭐

Many of you will have met Lee-Ann at some point over the years and we hope you will join us in wishing her well 🥰

What happens at a puppy party?
🐶 Week 1: An information evening for clients (without puppies present), covering topics including puppy socialisation and behaviour, nutrition, exercise, common poisons, and insurance.
🐶 Week 2, 3, and 4: Your puppies come into the practice for socialisation, handling, and play! Puppy classes are based on positive reinforcements, with lots of rewards and praise.

Meet lovely Monty who was in for his last chemotherapy appointment at our Dunfermline Hospital this week 🐾💙

Monty was diagnosed with lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph nodes 6 months ago and was very poorly at the time. However, with chemotherapy he achieved remission and has been an absolute star coming in every couple of weeks for blood tests and chemo 💪⭐

He's become a real favourite with us all and we really look forward to seeing him for his check ups. Don't you just love his bandana! 🥰 A few tears were shed by staff when we saw that!
Such true words 🤗

We can treat many types of cancers now with chemotherapy and work closely with oncologist advice to decide if this might be the right treatment for your pet 🩺
