HEALTH UPDATE

My operation went well - that was just over 3 weeks ago.

I tentatively said 1st February for my return to work. Unfortunately it's clear now that I won't be healed enough by then. The consultant said it would most likely take longer because it's quite a physical job. I'm also trying to deal with my ongoing shoulder injury.

I know this is bad news but I would rather say now and allow you all time to find a groomer before all the doggies are too overgrown. I am happy to pass on any grooming notes if needed. The best I can do is contact everyone when I'm back to full health and hopefully I'll see you at Groom Groom then 🧡 🐾

Advance notice of temporary closure :

Groom Groom will be closed from the 18th December until approximately 1st February.

Unfortunately I need to have an operation and will need time off to recover. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience.

I will be back in touch with everyone when I can give a definite start date.

Important stuff this week :

It's most likely I will be off throughout January. I need to have a wee operation and I'm just waiting on confirmation of the date. I will be in touch with everyone individually but just wanted to mention it now.

Back to the best bit though.... the doggies 🧡

Thank goodness it's Friday. Had to groom three dogs today. I'm not used to that 😃 A day off this week though to have a welding job done on my table.

Parvovirus in Fife

You might have read about the recent outbreak of Parvovirus in Fife.

It's important to be well informed so I have added a link to the Blue Cross website for you to read.

Please keep your dog off the grass when you come in and make sure you understand about the risks and prevention of Parvo. Any signs of your dog being unwell, even if vaccinated, do not come to your appointment and call to rearrange.

Let's keep our doggies as safe as possible 🧡

ROADWORKS

Please remember to leave extra time if you're having to drive through the roadworks at the roundabout by train station.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes over your appointment time it's unlikely I will be able to groom your dog. I've very few available appointments over the next month or so.

The roadworks are due to last until November 😬
