‼️Update reunited with owners‼️This lovely brown and white collie was found running along the Tanderagee road alongside Pomeroy forest. Please share in hopes this reaches their owner. Dog is safe with finder and will be checked for a microchip

34 DOG BREEDS AT RISK OF BEING WIPED OUT OF THE UK

The Kennel Club has created a list of 34 vulnerable native
British and Irish breeds that have fewer than 300
registrations a year. The list includes adorable breeds such
as the Foxhound (top right), Welsh Corgi (bottom right),
Skye Terrier and Curly Coated Retriever. 'Many native British
and Irish breeds are at risk of disappearing from our parks
and streets, simply because people don't know they exist, or
because they aren't considered fashionable, The Kennel

As the weather is getting warmer their will be some days I will have to close and move appointments as my salon gets very over heated and even having the door open and cool air coming from the dryers it's still not enough to keep your dogs cool for safety precautions your dogs come first and they will be booked in a different day 🐶

🛑I would recommend people getting their dogs trimmed in a tighter trim to help keep them cooler in this weather
🛑Breeds that aren't allowed to shaved e.g. golden retrievers, huskys, Pomeranians etc, what they have is thick under coat that can be removed by brushing and combing the coat this helps the air flow through the coat which therefore cools down their skin

AWARENESS *** PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOGS COOL & SAFE IN HOT WEATHER!

Your dogs health & wellbeing are always our main priority 🐶🐾🥵😎🌞

🌞Plenty of water for drinking.
🌞A paddling pool in the garden.
🌞Frozen veg & fruit for a cold treat.
🌞Cooling bandanas, matts & vests.
DO NOT fully cover your pets body with a cold towel as this won't allow heat to escape.
🌞 Shaded areas to stay cool & short walks. Use of fans.
🌞 Paw Balm for protecting the pads on hot ground and or a pet sunscreen. We stock our own balm in the salon or online.
🌞 We stock delicious doggy ice cream, perfect as a cooling treat. 😋

At the salon we will also be taking safety measures by drying your dogs with the coolest air setting so the grooming might take longer or they may go home slightly damp as the dryers can cause over heating particularly to those with underlying health conditions.
We do have air conditioning but if the salon environment were to go beyond 24°C we may have to reschedule your appointment due to the risk of heat stroke.
Your dogs welfare is our main priority during any groom, so please be understanding of any decisions we may discuss with you. 🖤🐾

Happy 1 Year Anniversary 🥳🥰

I would like to thank everyone who have supported me through my first year of my small grooming business, and a massive thank you to all of my amazing wee clients 🤗 in trusting me to groom their furbabies 🐕🐩✂️✂️. It's been such an amazing year getting to meet you all and seeing your doggies come through my door and going out smelling & feeling great 🥰. And I couldn't forget my most amazing family in helping me set up & being my biggest support system and believing I could do this 🥰🥰🥰

SATURDAY & SUNDAY 10am-4pm
Offering 8 different playgroups per day with something to suit every dog, each supervised by experienced staff. Including:
🐾 Puppy Hour - Sat 10am (£8.00)
🐾 Small Dog Playgroups - Multiple times available
🐾 Large Dog Playgroups - Multiple times available
🐾 Tiny Hour - Sat 11.30 or Sun 1.30pm
🐾 Teenager Play (Big Dogs) - Sat & Sun 11.30am
🐾 Big & Boisterous Play - Sun 10am
🐾 Fast & Fun (Small/Medium Dogs) - Sat 1.30pm
