These cattle have just received their drench of 'liquid gold'.
There is pens of finishing heifers and bulls.

HVS Liquid Gold Cattle is a chelated mineral and vitamin drench for young stock and finishing animals. All cattle on a forage based diet will respond to HVS Liquid Gold, especially in areas of copper deficiency.

Paul Elwood, from HVS Animal Health, says “Drenching stock with Liquid Gold Cattle prior to turnout can help deliver an extra 9.9kg of live weight over a 54 day period.” He also commented in Farming Life publication that "Liquid Gold Cattle is the only product of its kind in which essential trace elements, including iron, copper, zinc and manganese, are included solely in their chelated form".

🌾🌾🌾 Wholecrop at a local farmers land in the Cookstown area... Wholecrop Silage has many advantages where the fibre content of the diet could be low, particularly on a multi-cut grass silage system. Multi-cut silage has a much higher energy and protein content per kilogram dry matter than conventional systems. With the inclusion of whole crop as a secondary forage, which is high in Neutral Digestible Fibre (NDF), this can stimulate a higher forage dry matter intake which will increase overall Milk Solids and could reduce the need for a proportion of purchased feed. The addition of wholecrop silage has also been linked to an increase in animal health and fertility.
