Even though I officially passed my final exam as a behaviourist about 18 months ago, there’s been a long wait to actually get my certificate (which has been super frustrating!) .

Well… look what I received this week! I’m absolutely over the moon! 🥳

All those years of studying, practicals and dissertations were so worth it. Over the past year I’ve been able to offer behaviour consults to some amazing dogs and their wonderful humans, and I’ve seen so many lives change for the better.

I honestly couldn’t have got here without the support of my incredible clients. Thank you for trusting me with your dogs, for letting me be part of your journeys, and for reminding me every day why I chose this path. Your encouragement and belief mean the world to me 💛

Here’s to helping even more dogs and owners live happier lives together 🐶✨

💡 Did you know I offer flexible payment plans for my courses and behaviour consultations?
I also provide a discounted rate for those in need.

Making training and behaviour support accessible is something I really care about. Living with a dog who struggles can feel overwhelming and isolating, and no one should have to face that alone. 🐾

I’ve seen first-hand how strict terms and conditions from some professionals can make people feel uncomfortable, especially if they’re already finding things tough. That’s why I do things differently.

✨ I keep things as flexible as possible, because I understand that both financial and life constraints can sometimes get in the way.

This is a judgement-free space where I aim to make the whole process as stress-free as possible for both you and your dog. 💛

Don’t compare yourself to others on social media.

It’s so easy to get sucked into the idea that everyone’s life is perfect. That they’re always happy, always successful, always “together.” But the truth? It’s not always like that.

For me personally, I’m beyond grateful for my life my family, my friends, and my furry crew! but I wanted to share a few truths, in case someone out there needs to hear this today:

1️⃣ I often feel imposter syndrome.
I doubt my skills and achievements, and I’m definitely my own harshest critic.

2️⃣ I struggle to juggle being a mum and a businesswoman. I constantly worry I’m falling short in one area or the other, even when I’m giving it my all.

3️⃣ I live with anxiety and OCD.
It’s been with me since childhood, just showing up in different ways over the years. Animals have always been my biggest therapy. 🐾

I’m sharing this because social media is a highlight reel. It can make you feel like you’re not doing enough, that your life or your dog or your everything doesn’t measure up.

Remember: you are enough, exactly as you are.

And if you need it, take that break. Stop the doom scrolling, and give yourself some grace. 💛

🐾 Everyone, meet our new stooge dog… Tito!

So why might we use a stooge dog in training?

👉 For reactive dogs - A stooge dog is a safe, controlled “prop” that allows us to practise training skills without putting any real dogs at risk. It means we can work on building calmness, focus, and confidence in a way that’s safe for everyone.

👉 For children - As a Kids Around Dogs professional, I might use my trusty stooge dog to teach children how to safely and kindly interact with dogs. Tito helps children learn where it’s safe to pet, how to approach politely, and how to respect a dog’s space – all without the risk of overwhelming a real dog.

Tito might not wag his tail, but he’s a superstar when it comes to helping both dogs and humans learn safely. 🌟

Feeling so grateful today!

I recently worked with a lovely Cockapoo on a behaviour referral, and hearing feedback like this makes my heart so full:

💬 “I so look forward to our sessions together, I go away feeling calmer, happier and understood. After working with you, I feel like I’ve fallen in love with my dog all over again.”

This is exactly why I do what I do. It’s not just about supporting your dog, it’s about supporting you too — helping you feel more confident, more connected, and more at ease together.

Moments like this remind me how much I truly love my job 💛🐾

✨ What an amazing afternoon at the Moat House Care Home for their dog show 🐕

The atmosphere was buzzing, with so many wagging tails, happy faces and lovely conversations. It was such a pleasure to meet and chat with so many of you. 🐾💛

We honestly feel so lucky to be part of this wonderful community - the staff are so warm and welcoming and the residents are an absolute joy to spend time with. Every visit is truly special.

Of course, Olive was in her element surrounded by dogs (no surprise there!) and was extra grateful for her cake. 🎂🐶

We can’t wait to be back again soon!

🐾 Why your dog isn’t being “naughty”…

It’s easy to label certain behaviours as naughty. For example: barking, chewing, pulling on the lead, jumping up… the list goes on!

But here’s the truth ⬇️

Dogs don’t do things to be “bad” or to “wind us up”. Every behaviour has a reason behind it.

✨ Barking? Communication.
✨ Chewing? Natural outlet or stress relief.
✨ Pulling on the lead? Excitement or lack of training.
✨ Jumping up? Seeking attention or connection.

When we shift our perspective from “naughty” to “needs help learning a better way”, everything changes. 💡

Instead of punishment, we can:

✔️ Understand the why behind the behaviour
✔️ Teach an alternative that works for both of you
✔️ Build a calmer, more confident dog

Your dog isn’t giving you a hard time… maybe they’re having a hard time understanding how to act in our human world 🌍

✨ You may have heard about our Reactive Rehab Courses, but wondered “what do they actually involve?” Here’s a little insight into what we cover and how it can help you and your dog ⬇️

🐾 Understanding thresholds & triggers
Learn how to recognise your dog’s stress threshold and triggers, manage them effectively, and truly understand their communication and body language so you can keep them calm and below threshold.

🐾 Gradual desensitisation
Using barriers, indoor and outdoor spaces, we progress at a steady pace that feels safe for your dog. Everything is tailored to go at their speed.

🐾 Working through real-life triggers
From dogs to people to sounds – no two reactive dogs are the same. While we work as a group, you’ll also receive individual support that meets your dog’s unique needs.

🐾 Confidence for both ends of the lead
This isn’t just about your dog’s confidence – it’s about yours too. We’ll give you the tools to feel more comfortable, in control, and able to enjoy your walks again.

🐾 Strengthening your bond
Discover more about your dog as an individual, their needs, and how to build calmness and connection together.

💡 If this sounds like what you and your dog need, get in touch today! Our next course starts 24th September and, due to a last-minute cancellation, we have just one space left.

This is your chance to reshape both your life and your dog’s. ❤️
