Jayne says - I had the pleasure of meeting the most wonderful, engaging and super knowledgeable carriage driving authority - Sarah Dance. Sarah came to visit me and wrote a very lovely article for the The Carriage Commentator which is a fantastic, useful online resource for all carriage driving enthusiasts. It’s a big week for team Minnie - we are off to the BDS Annual Show tomorrow at Smiths Lawn Guards Polo Club in Windsor, Royal Norfolk on Wednesday and then to Sandringham for CIAT Attelege event on Friday/Sat/Sun! Cleaning carriage, harness and packing … it’s all go 🙂

Una lost her sight and loves coming and driving with us ! She says it’s given her freedom back to her and there is no slowing her down ! With SatNag beside her she and Flay are making wonderful memories !

Our super vet Ralph Hege can turn his hand to anything ! First aid to a broken swingle tree soon had us up and running again ! Thank you as it meant our wonderful para driver got to have her lesson!

Great way for Grandma to entertain the Grandchildren …. A treasure hunt on food and transport ending up at Ashfields Country Kitchen and the Ashfields Equestruan Trust where they learnt all about travelling on coaches before cars were invented .

Ashfields Equestrian Trust enables people like Gill to pick up the pieces and drive forward again, we put a smile on her Face, Flay our fabulous Equestrian Trust pony gave Gill reason to get up and to keep thinking forward and she is now looking forward to a happy season with Louise Lilleys Mickey who helps Flay ou with all of his commitments !

Super proud to be part of Harry’s journey over the past few months Ashfields Equestrian Trust Flay has helped Harry achieve his National Occupational Standard awards of achievement in Assisting in harnessing up ( he does it by himself ) assisting Putting Too ( he does it himself ) drive a single pony (Flay) plus looking after the equipment and assisting in others to drive ! A huge achievement despite all the health issues you have had to cope with !

Over 2023 our fabulous ponies Ashfields Equestrian Trust Flay and Louise Lilly’s Mickey have brought so much fun and pleasure to our clients, Flay especially leads the way is helping with Mental Health, as well as our clients with restrictive abilities, he is so calm and patient, loves a cuddle and has a huge fan club, with 70 new drivers having a go in some form or other, both ponies are busy all year round with mini breaks to be ponies in between.
2024 already looks to be a pretty busy year with Try Driving, Young Drivers, Pony care and cuddles as well as their devoted weekly and fortnightly drivers honing and toning their skills or keeping in touch with the horse world! Well done ponies

We are thrilled to have Carriage Driving Award Best RDA Group Winners Barrow Farm closely associated with the Ashfields Equestrian Trust
The Trust Hosts their annual summer camp and our wonderful pony Flay achieved his certification so that the drivers could have new experiences .
Flay was proud to appear in the video with his Driver Emma to receive the award

Ashfields Carriage and polo club, we are looking for someone to work on the livery yard.
Morning hours Tuesday to Sunday 7.30am to 10.30am ( can be flexible if it would suit someone after the school run).
Afternoon hours Tuesdays, Friday and Saturday 2pm to 5pm.
Please give me a call if you can do any of these shifts or a freelance looking fo extra shifts, it is general yard duties.
