🎅🏼🎄CHRISTMAS RAFFLE 🎄🎅🏼

On several occasions recently we have had stray animals with no families coming forward for them and they have needed surgery and medication.

Although we are more than happy to donate our time and medications, some of these animals have needed costly tests at external laboratories or expensive orthopaedic equipment so we do now have lab fees and equipment fees to cover.

So that we can continue to help strays we will be fundraising with a Christmas hamper raffle. We hope to raise £500 towards lab fees, blood tests and orthopaedic plates.

Anything we raise above this will be donated to the fantastic animal charities we work alongside ❤️.

We have some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Raffle tickets will be available to purchase starting tomorrow

Recently our Head Nurse Becky spent time working alongside the amazing team at Carriacou Animal Hospital in Grenada, helping to provide vital veterinary care to local dogs, and cats! 🐶🐱

With a population of around 8,000 people, the island has limited access to veterinary care, so visiting volunteers like Becky make an enormous difference.

During her time there, she helped provide essential treatments, vaccinations, and surgeries, supporting the local community. 💙

Becky described it as “a rewarding and eye-opening experience” and said she feels grateful to have been part of such a dedicated team working hard to improve animal welfare on the island. 🌴

Well done Becky ❤️

❤️Little stray cat update:

An owner never came forward for our sweet little stray cat so we went ahead and removed the ulcerated lump on her face, and biopsied her skin.

We are so pleased to report that her results have come back and her lump was benign. This means she will be able to move into foster care and look for her forever home 🐾 ❤️

We had a very special patient in to visit us recently 🧸

Charlie brought his class bear Dylan in for a check up with vet Jerry.

After a thorough once over, Dylan was given a clean bill of health ready to head back to school!

Well done Charlie for taking such great care of Dylan! ❤️
