We are desperately needing cat fosters to join our rescue as we have a sadly large number of cats desperately needing to come into us 💔 We need you to ideally have a spare room for our cat if you have a resident cat incase they don’t get along and you need to be aware that these cats will be very scared moving and will hide and be stressed for a while.If you feel you could help please message us 🐾

Open day for dog owners at dog park - Argyll Active Paws in Sandbank 18/8 10.30 am - 4pm no dogs at the open day but you can explore bring your wellies - there will be stalls from dog businesses - I will be there and can have a chat with you about canine massage, dog/puppy training and animal aromatherapy see you then ❤️🐾🐾

I am considering hiring the park on a Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoon for either 30 minutes or 1 hour and would offer a pick up and drop off for your dog in a professionally crated van. I would be in the park at all times and also another dog lover and up to 5 dogs

Prior to this I would look at meet and greets and take into consideration personalities of dogs, age and fitness etc❤️🐾🐾

To help me consider if this is worthwhile arranging would this be something that you would be interested in?

This was a really interesting session around pain management and how sleep can help with this ❤️🐾🐾

A big thank you to Dr. Lauren Davis from VetRelieve for providing our members with a valuable CPD lecture on the science of sleep; a really important topic when it comes to chronic pain management for arthritis as well as soft tissue and muscular injury rehabilitation.
Our Guild members are trained to assess for sleep habits as part of their 2 year training with Canine Massage Therapy Centre and so Dr Laurens lecture, advice and dedication to the subject really caught our attention with her friendly and informative approach.

Interesting article around dog training and how using a multi modal approach can work to improve behaviour ❤️🐾🐾 During a clinical canine massage i first of all fo an initial assessment where I look at a dogs gait, how they are moving , posture and also chat to the owner about any different behaviours they have noticed e.g stiff after walks, not as sociable with other dogs, backing off when touching them, struggling to go upstairs and increased reactivity.
Prior to any canine massage I also require a vet consent form
This helps me with my dog training as it helps me understand how to identify when a dog is pain ❤️🐾🐾

Really happy with the progress with both of these dogs today - one is recovering well from stem cell treatment and the other dog has started to become stiffer after walks

Great success with these gorgeous spaniels both when I first started massaging them wouldn’t settle now one of them chills straight away ❤️🐾🐾 The other boy can get quite anxious we have started using Essential oils with him and owner has noticed a big difference ❤️🐾🐾 If you have a dog that is anxious drop me a message in comments or send a dm and we can have a chat about clinical canine masssge and essential oils for pets and humans ❤️🐾🐾 A wee walk along beach today also ❤️🐾🐾
