Wow, the weather is not happy today! While we would love to see everyone this weekend we understand if it’s difficult or dangerous for you to do so.
Today is Small Business Saturday, a chance to get explore your town for dozens of hidden gems across all sectors. A new independent coffee shop, a hand made gift emporium, a traditional green grocer and your favourite local, specialist reptile shop 😏
Each independently owned and run small business on your high street is there because the owners care, are passionate and want to support their community.
Each business supports a family, each shop provides for their customers during and out of work hours, each enterprise works tirelessly to make a difference.
If you do go out today, pop into your newly opened cafe, try out a new bakery for your weekend bread and make sure you definitely pop into your local reptile shop! These guys work so hard to bring you the most comprehensive advice, the best selection of animals and a whole array of products to help you a long in your reptile journey. If you can’t go out today, drop them a DM and tell them they’re brilliant, comment on a post or send them some ❤️.

Christmas is fast approaching and here at Wrigglies we want to make sure all our customers and animals have a happy Christmas! 🎄
To make sure our animals for sale have a happy and safe Christmas we will be stopping the sale of livestock on the 18th of December. This is to stop any last minute panic buying of animals. While a pet can be a great present for Christmas, a lot of time and consideration should be taken before purchasing as this animal will be for life not just for Christmas. 🐉
If you have reserved animals before the 18th you are more than welcome to collect closer to Christmas but no new sales will go ahead after this date. Livestock sales will resume as normal after Christmas. 🐢

It’s cold but is warming up slowly.
In cold weather it’s best for the bugs to be warmed at room temperature over a period of time. Usually a couple of hours.

Lots of people ask about Brian’s feeding time. Licensing states we cannot open her enclosure during opening hours so here she is last night having her tea. As you will have seen in her 15 yrs of being with us, she has a birth defect in that her jaws are misaligned. This means she can only eat small food items. Her favourite is rats! She’s fed on random evenings throughout the week, she’s so used to us going in and cleaning and changing the lamps she’s not bothered by us anymore. But she does know the clinking her feeding grabbers! We love you Brian! 🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊
