So Bespoke was invited to to enter the Dunstable in Bloom competition this year.
This Year's theme is SOWING THE SEEDS OF FRIENDSHIP.
So what better than to create something including Man's Best Friend. Our beloved dogs ❤️🐕 We painted the wheelbarrow Yellow and planted lots of yellow flowers as this is the colour of FRIENDSHIP. 💛🌟🟡
This is the finished product. What do you think.? Let's hope the judges like it. 🌿🍀💚

Good afternoon everyone 🌞 Hope you have enjoyed the Bank Holiday and had a lovely break. I know we have .. Tayla has enjoyed a day at the Zoo , and another Pigeon Race 🐘🦒🐦and I've enjoyed time to study and a great day out competing at Herts county show, gaining some very respectable rosettes with our filly Naomi. So ..back to work tomorrow. Business as usual !! All messages and emails and texts will be dealt with tomorrow morning!. We are making the most of our time.
What have you guys got up to ? Anyone go to Herts Show?? Or The Big Weekend?? . We would love to hear what you got up to .

Morning guys
Anyone thinking about an appointment soon , just a heads up that Tayla and I have decided to have a small break and close for the Bank Holiday weekend. This is something we have never done, but feel we need a minute. We are going to work later Wednesday and Thursday this coming week to accommodate people that need a Saturday. The Ultrasonic Toothbrush is a silent brush that is gently placed on the dogs teeth and gums , the ultrasonic bubbles work their magic and deplete the Tartar and kill the bacteria on and under the gums.
Where possible, we will gently pick and remove loose Plaque with an orange stick. This treatment is a process. 7 to 10 days apart.

The initial treatment is £35. This includes a Consultation, your dogs own brush attachment ( that we keep and sterilise ) and 20 minutes treatment.
Follow ups are £15.

We recommend that there is a minimum of two visits 7 to 10 days apart. This gives the gums a chance to settle down, but not long enough for more bacteria to build up. Some older dogs with a build up of may take up to 5 visits to us.
Many customers then add this treatment onto their dogs regular 6 weekly groom , this preventing any more build up.

So Kayleigh, Martin and I are off to Crufts today. Today is Toy and Utility, my favourite. ❤️ Love to see the amazing grooms and beautiful , poodles , pomaranians, bichons, and all the other little beauties..
Good old Tayla is manning the fort at work solo today... She is a good egg .. forever grateful. So please bare with her today 🙏🏼 as she won't be able to answer calls and messages until she has finished up

Every groom we do we always include the all important nail trim, and every day we see dogs with extremely long nails...
It's inevitable that our dogs nails grow and sometimes we just don't realise until we hear them click clacking on our wooden floors, or until a nail gets caught in something, or when they jump up and it hurts 🤣.. it doesn't matter to us at Bespoke, no judgement, life gets in the way then you realise.
Anyway... The point I'd like to make is that we are often limited to how much we can take off the nail. If your dog has black nails , we cant see the quick, and often the quick has grown down the nail. The only way to deal with this without the risk of hurting and making the dog bleed is to take off a small amount at a time, regularly and often.
We encourage you to get your dogs nails clipped once a month and this helps reduce the quick and then the nails themselves become shorter..

WE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY TO WORK WITH DOGS WHO ARE REALLY SENSITIVE AND STRUGGLE TO HAVE THEIR NAILS CLIPPED.
We have a fantastic technique, and offer this at the quieter time of the day ( early morning, or , end of the day ) It's a quick procedure and we like to work together with our customers to desentise your dog. In a calm and kind way . It may take a few goes but we have had amazing results from even the most nervous/ sensitive dogs.

Hey everyone 🙋🏼‍♀️
So due to popular demand we are opening longer hours now on Wednesdays and alternative Thursdays.
Thes appointments are mainly aimed at people who work full time , but have a sensitive, aggressive, nervous dog that needs that extra calm and quiet and TLC , or even two people to manage them. We still will be working with these dogs early Saturday mornings , but Saturdays are becoming increasingly busy and much less calm than week days. Please don't hesitate to call and discuss with us any concerns.

Good morning 🌞

I've had a lot of requests and questions about what brush to use on your dogs lately and so have decided to get a few in for those who would like to buy one. I also will stick dematting and detangling spray , this can also be used as a preventive measure. I use it daily in the parlour and it's incredible. You only use a small amount.

Thirdly I have been also asked every day about teeth cleaning. We offer a fantastic procedure ( check out on the website) but for those dogs with very sore inflamed gums I have used an amazing fell that you simply rub on the gums everyday before we work our magic and remove plaque and tartar.
