🐕 The GBGB has released new stats regarding unnecessary deaths due to greyhound racing 💔
In 2022, 244 dogs sadly died or were put to sleep due to their participation in greyhound racing and over 4,354 were injured 😭
These figures show, yet again, the inherent danger to greyhounds of participating in racing. Not only that, but we also share concerns at every stage of a racing greyhound’s life including issues around inadequate welfare standards in kennelling and transporting the dogs 😩
