A very bitter sweet post tonight, I got a phone call last night for an emergency out of hours welfare groom for a poodle called Betty. What a tolerant, beautiful sweet little thing she was. I can’t take all the credit for this, Hatty being the animal caring person she is got stuck in with me and around over 5 hours in total it took us we managed to get the years worth of matts and poo that were caked onto her skin from her being left in a stable.

She has now been removed from that place and is enjoying her life in a new home with her new doggy friends.

We wish Betty the best life 💕

It’s so important to send your puppy for a groom from a young age to desensitise them to all the noises, smells and being touched on legs paws etc. This is Rupert, he is 10 weeks old. From my girls litter. Totally desensitised to the sound of the dryer and being bathed. Grooming is now a positive experience for him! He went to his forever home at the weekend all fresh and smelling like baby powder 🥰

For anyone wanting to exercise their dogs in the warmer weather, I took Audrey and Iris to woofs and scruffs in Durham and can highly recommend! We couldn’t keep Audrey out the pool she absolutely loved it 🥰
