It’s so important to send your puppy for a groom from a young age to desensitise them to all the noises, smells and being touched on legs paws etc.

This is Rupert, he is 10 weeks old. From my girls litter. Totally desensitised to the sound of the dryer and being bathed. Grooming is now a positive experience for him!

He went to his forever home at the weekend all fresh and smelling like baby powder 🥰

We have also had quite a few dogs in this week who have had ticks. Please if you can check your dogs prior to appointments. I’m no longer allowed to remove ticks due to insurance not covering it if it gets infected and needs vet treatment.

Also we’ve had a few people turning up 15 minutes plus early to appointments. Would it be possible to request that you turn up at your booked slots to avoid cross overs between dogs as I groomed quite a few nervous ones

So so proud of this big lad!

Elvis came to us a while ago extremely nervous. He doesn’t like any part of grooming and is always on edge.

Today he came to me after working with him for a good few months and he allowed me to bath, dry and groom him. He is usually groomed on the floor as the table is too much for him.

Hard work and patience has totally paid off! Now look at him. So relaxed and it is now a positive experience for him ☺️
