So sorry I haven’t been uploading much, it’s been a busy few month.
I had to say good bye to my golden boy buzz back in January and broke my heart. Then we’ve had a couple 1000 new babies which took up some time, followed by a few scans and some microchipping in between. As always if you need anything night or day do message and I will get back with you as soon as I can.

Crufts made my little ice heart she’d a tear 😂. The emotion from the flat coat man was something else he was just so pleased for the dog. All the hard work both had put in paid off. Congratulations to everyone that has been and all the hard work you put in ❤️

Something a little different 🐐
I went to a local primary school to scan their two British Alpine goats.
The reception class got involved and we confirmed pregnancy, saw heartbeats and learnt baby goats are called kids.
Everyone was on there best behaviour.

Just a useful read if you have horses and dogs or even walking through horse fields, also worth remembering this could be collie X breeds too there’s other breeds affected by the MDR1 gene

Sudden onset blindness and dilated pupils are just two of the symptoms your pet could experience if they lick or eat even a small amount of equine worming product.

🐶🐱To help keep your cats and dogs safe when worming your horse:

• Keep them out of the immediate area you are worming in
• Prevent access to stables until they are mucked out afterwards
• Clean up any spillages or any wormer that your horse spits out
• Dispose of used worming syringes in a sealed bin
• Store wormers securely.

Be aware that some dogs belonging to certain breeds, for example Collies, can be more sensitive to ivermectin-based wormers and these dogs can show signs of poisoning even when a small amount is eaten.

If you ever suspect your pet has eaten equine wormer or they seem unwell having been around your horse at the time of worming, contact your vet for advice. Following early veterinary treatment, the dog in the photo did make a full recovery 👩‍⚕️.

Just a little info on microchipping databases, I received a email notifying me there’s a data base that isn’t compliant with current defra legislation. In lay mans terms, if your pet goes missing vets and shelters don’t have access to this database, so they wouldn’t be able to contact you with your missing pet. Make sure your microchip implanter is using a defra compliant database. I have attached a photo of compliant databases.

We use peddymark microchips with animal tracker database, there is a choice now to use the petlog database too. If you would like petlog, please let me know ASAP, as these need to be ordered in advance.

Beautiful litter of jack Russell terriers chipped 😍🥰 everyone knows I’m a sucker for a terrier 😂 I could of gladly took these little beauties home luckily they had homes ❤️ all the best in your new homes little ones, in true terrier fashion not a peep out of them 😊

Please check your scanners credentials before you book a scan, make sure they know what they are looking at bladder, kidneys, spleen or bowel. I’ve had quite a few rescans, where clients have been told their dog is pregnant and it’s not, yes dogs can reabsorb puppies but the pictures they are getting are of intestines and told that it’s pups and the quality of the scan is something else. I could go on but really won’t 🤐.
Again they are some fab local scanners around, I’m not trying to pull anyone down, there is enough business for everyone but do your research please, it will save you money in the long run and a lot of heartache. ❤️
