It’s been a soggy start to the year, but as we are fast approaching ‘summer’ now, we are pleased to say our cross-country course is now officially open again for the year. A huge thank you to our regulars and some new faces that have visited recently.
To anyone looking to visit for the first time, we offer the following:
• A 3.5-mile private off-road cross country hacking experience just outside Lanchester village.
• On a hot day take a ride through the river to cool off, or for those adventurous folks we have 10 jumps on route for you to try.
• There is plenty of free parking!
• No time limit, ride around as much as you wish (but please stay on the outlined route 😊)
To book:
• Send us a private message on Facebook with your party size along with preferred date and time.
• Payment is cash on the day, £20 per horse.
• Helmets and body protectors to be worn and you will need to sign a disclaimer before heading out.

Now this little lot is shifted there's about 40 acres of stubble available for gallops for anyone who is interested.you've got 2 - 3 weeks before it's planted again for next year.😄

So, for a short period of time (before it's ploughed) there's 12 acres of grassland you adrenaline junkies can use for a gallop should you so desire.😀

"Course work",two words I used to dislike intensely but now they mean something entirely different.😄 trying to fix some of the damage caused by the naughty individuals riding round without permission last week when it was still far too wet.🤬

Hi everyone.in light of recent events,if you're using separate transport or transport large enough to socially distance in or are part of the same family or support bubble,I see no reason people can't still come.there's more than adequate room to distance in the yard,we have hand sanitiser and I always disinfect the surfaces in the office after each group.so I'll leave it to your discretion as to whether you can comply with the current rules and if not you are welcome to cancel and book again if and when normality returns.thanks Anthony 🙂

Hi all, we've finished all the harvest now so for a short while,before it's ploughed,there's 50 acres of stubble any of you adrenaline junkies can use for a gallop as well as the usual course of course!😀
