Couldn’t agree more 👌🏻

Let’s make this short and sweet.

If you don’t want a dog that picks things up. Don’t get a Labrador.
If you don’t want a dog that vanishes into the bushes, nose down and ears off, don’t get a spaniel.
If you don’t want a dog that’s rough in their play and mouthy and with a tendency towards animal aggression, don’t get a bull breed.
If you don’t want a dog that can smell out every crumb of anything that has ever existed, don’t get a beagle.
If you don’t want a dog that herds and chases, don’t get a border collie.
If you don’t want a dog with a high prey drive, don’t get a sighthound.
If you don’t want a dog who loves to dig holes and bark, don’t get a terrier.
If you don’t want a dog you have to groom regularly. Don’t get a poodle or a mix of a poodle.

Actually. Let me simplify this further.

If you don’t want a dog that behaves like a dog, particularly if they are selectively bred for certain traits, and you have no desire to train them, don’t get a dog.

Get a house plant.

The people that need to hear this won’t see this, so I’m screaming into the void here. But if one person who was considering a dog they don’t have the time, means or desire to accept, work with and train reads this and reconsiders, then I’ll be happy.

Dogs aren’t for everyone. We need to learn this lesson very fast as a nation before things get even more fu**ed up.

Not everyone needs a dog. Most people definitely don’t need a working breed.

That’s my rant for the day.

Last month, I had the privilege to chaperone the gorgeous Indi to her parents Alex & Charlotte’s wedding day at the amazing .

Indi and I had the best day out exploring Richmond, treats, back to the venue for the arranged photos followed by a run in a private field to get her nice and tired to settle for the night back at their room.

We offer basic to bespoke packages, so any idea or detail can be met. From just being at the right place for photos, to being at the venue from the beginning to meet & greet, to being a ring bearer, golden hour photos…anything you need. We offer Pick up and drop offs at the designated location, so all stress of dog care is lifted for the day.

Mia is an ex-army dog handler who has a passion for all things dog! Mia is a trainer and hydrotherapist at Voodoo K9 and competes with her dogs in high level protection sports.

Mia is super keen to meet your pups and have some adventures, she will be providing walks on a Thursday and Friday, so if you’ve been waiting to book in now is the time!

We are a responsible dog walking service, with a high level of knowledge and skill to compliment your dogs obedience & behaviours. Walking comfortably on lead with others, with the opportunity to be offlead if they have suitable recall & manners. None of this crazy group of dogs all running around playing with their deaf ears on for us.

We have 2 options with first aid kits, both the premium kit & the mini kit. Both great for their own reasons. The premium is great to keep in the house/ vehicle, and the mini for your bag.

We have 4 options for the antiseptic skincare sizes! Again, each has a place - the large we keep at home, mediums in the van & the small in the bag.

We’ve had to use both the kit & the antiseptic. But it’s always better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it!
