We are simply chuffed to see the initial reaction to our plea for help for Stephen and Cracker – such kindness keeps the whole team going.

People have been incredibly generous and we are so very grateful for that.
However, we have always found that the small amounts really do add up; so please don’t be afraid to offer us even £1 - as every little, really does help us, to reach that all-important goal.

Important message from our wonderful organisers Wendy Strang and Halcyon Maben ❤ ❤

We have 139 people coming to the Scales of Training demo this Friday. This is a fantastic result for Here4Horses 🙌🙌

Some little pointers to help the night run smoothly:
- Please remember to bring your own chair
- Where ever possible can people share lifts
- Please respect our volunteer car park attendant - their job won’t be easy!
- Please enter at the top of the arena near the road
- Please bring change and small notes for refreshments and the grand raffle – although card payments can be taken for £5 upwards
- It may be OK to park 4-wheel drive vehicles in the field, however, this depends on the weather between now and Friday

We all look forward to seeing you there – it’s going to be a great night 👏👏👏👏

We at Here4Horses were all devastated at the loss of Jamie Stewart MRCVS.
After much deliberation we decided that with our increasing focus on education in 2023 - a Memorial Lecture Day to celebrate his life would be fitting.

We believe this very special inaugural event will go some way to appropriately recognise and celebrate Jamie’s remarkable life.

Imagine pulling out a horse in a room full of professionals and sharing what we see going on with the horse.

Without judgement against each others’ findings - because it's not the same as our own - we learn as we look through an alternate lens?

What would happen if we were all able to sit down, compare notes and find the common threads?
What would that rehabilitation plan look like for that horse if we could all agree?
What would the future of diagnostics look like if a common theme was shared?
What would the future of equine welfare look like?

We have successfully secured two recognised leaders in equine research - join us for an incredible learning experience whilst we celebrate Jamie Stewart’s passion for horses.

Jamie would have been truly humbled by the prospect of a community founded on mutual respect and deep regard for the horse.

A day spent at Myerscough College. Supporting the next generation of farriers. JB equine provided 6 horses for the pre Diploma candidates before their exams next week. We wish you all the best of luck! 🍀

Big thank you to two of our wonderful clients, Laura Ritchie-Bland and Sara Moralee, who trusted us with their horses. All 6 were very well behaved and the apprentices were very appreciative 🔨 🐴

Big congratulations to the latest JB equine apprentice Tiff Stead on successfully passing his Farriery Diploma. We couldn’t be prouder of you and your achievements over the past 4 years, in all aspects of your training, such as securing a place on the Scottish Apprentice Farriery Team. You have been dedicated and hard working from start to finish. We won’t be waving him off just yet as Tiff is staying with us a few days to a week to enjoy some travelling this summer. Once again Well Done to our latest Qualified Farrier! 🔨 🐎 🥂🥳
