Just spent an interesting morning teaching a session of the workshop 'PET'.

Today was a recap & refresher session. 'Repetition is the art of mastery'!

An integral part of the workshop is discussion, which is always so interesting. Together with just a little twist of active group participation😉

Sometimes life for all of us is a balancing act and you have to make choices. Making choices means being being brave and bold together with believing in yourself and what you can achieve!

Taking your first step about choices and self-selection for your dog, your precious family member, can be very daunting.

It's about being brave and bold, believing in yourself as your dogs advocate. 💜

This morning was Element 7 of 'Let Your Animal Lead - Starting Your Canine Journey'

A live teaching demonstration with one of the students and her stunning boy Balou a Labrador aged 5yrs. Guiding Mirjam in offering him remedies with the students observing.

In this short video clip Balou is being offered sandalwood aromatic water. A lovely interaction from Balou. Then he demonstrates he wants to lick the water, & chooses to lick it from his carers hand.

A really very interesting session for the students to observe. A great learning opportunity for us all, especially as we were joined by Balou's companion Pip part way through the session & they changed roles! (Have to tune in again to see Pip)

Just spent a brilliant morning teaching Element 2 of 'Let Your Animal Lead - A Further Journey' to the group of very enthusiastic students.

Delving deeper in to the world of essential oils expanding our understanding & knowledge to help us further in facilitating self-selection & choices for our dogs!

Spent this morning teaching Element 6 of the workshop 'Starting Your Canine Journey " covering 'Nutritional Supplements' 😉

Offering our dogs self-selection & choices !

What supplements - such as dried herbs, powders, algae, clay, vitamins and minerals together with fixed & macerated oils are beneficial for our dogs?

How do you know which supplements your dog needs?

How do you offer the supplements?

What problems or issues are they known to be selected for?
How to we offer them to our dogs giving them choices?

As dog guardians we are so used to being prescriptive on what our dogs should have and how much they should actually be given as directed by the information on the label!

Dare I use the word controlling ?

Well we are off at last!

I have just spent a brilliant morning with a great group of students as we started our further journey into the world of self - selection and choices for our dogs.

Involving a little recap & refresher, digging deeper into remedies, challenges & homework with just a little fun! 😁

Just spent another great morning teaching Element 5 of the workshop 'Starting Your Canine journey'

Todays session focussed on understanding trauma issues. How can we help our dogs overcome trauma both physical and emotional.

Together with fears and phobias especially from noise. thunderstorms & fireworks.

Also dogs who are labelled as having specific behavioural issues.
