We looked at pain and inflammation issues together with tumours and growths.
Considering pain & inflammation is such an important aspect - sadly many of our dogs suffer in silence. They are so stoical.
How we can support our dogs by self-selection and choices in offering key remedies, including topical applications and to observe & understand their responses.
Always so much to consider and think about, how we can give our dogs choices. Remembering every dog is an individual 💜

We were very pleased to again welcome Sam Barrett of Animal Aromatics to present her talk Hydrolats II
Sam’s talk took us further into the world of hydrolats the focus 'The Power of Water'.
Interesting and informative as well as inspiring. There is always so much to learn & we never stop learning!
So many under estimate the power and medicinal qualities of hydrosols. A safe & gentle approach, an approach of less is more!
Animal Aromatics has an extensive range of hydrolat’s which are amazing for our dogs (all animals) which we highly recommend.

This morning in 'A Further Journey' we had a follow up session with Dona after her session a week ago. It was very interesting to observe her choices & how she engaged with the remedies today.
In the short clip Dona is offered St Johns Wort Co2 extract. Her guardian has the extra on her fingers and rubs her fingers together. The remedy is a thick and waxy consistency so this action warms the remedy making it more pliable (easier to work with) & also reduces the intensity of the aroma.

We were then joined by Sam Barrett of Animal Aromatics!
Sam’s talk was on botanicals and the focus was on hydrolat’s. The talk was both very interesting and informative and gave a great insight in to what is involved in the actual process of producing the products.
Animal Aromatics has an extensive range of hydrolat’s which are amazing for our dogs (all animals) which I do highly recommend.
Again a lovely opportunity for the students to share their experiences with Sam of their dogs selecting hydrolats and the results experienced.

Jenny's absolute wealth of knowledge together with her experience and passion are evident. What can be seen as very difficult topic to understand was given in a professional and simple easily understood delivery. An amazing session with a great teacher !

This is gorgeous Lulu who is recovering from her ACL (cruciate) surgery. Here she is engaging with Wintergreen essential oil. Wintergreen is a known pain remedy. Lulu is engaging with the oil and giving lots of positive signs. Lovely demonstration of how to offer the oil! Note of caution: Lulu has had Chamomile German prior to being offered the wintergreen should she need gut support. Thank you Thomas for the video clip of Lulu and hope she is soon fully recovered 💜
This is another short clip from the live teaching demonstration with one of my students and his lovely girl called Lina. Guiding him in offering her remedies with a number of students observing. In this clip Lina is offered and engages with Hemp essential oil. She was so clear in her choices. It is important to remember that all our dogs are individuals and not all dogs will respond and engage as Lina does here. A very interesting session for the students to observe! We are nearing the end of her session & Phyllis Lorraine came to the 'Jasmine Absolute' that was being offered to her. She actively engages with the oil closing her session with "A Hug in a bottle" leaving her in a lovely place. This was a very deep lovely session for Phyllis Lorraine, so interesting. This is a further short video clip from the follow up live 1 to 1 teaching session with Jenny and her gorgeous girl Phyllis Lorraine, guiding Jenny in offering her remedies with some students observing. Phyllis Lorraine had been working with Valerian hydrolat & valerian essential oil as seen in the previous clip. Now she is offered Rose hydrolat & also Rose essential oil she comes to the rose hydrolat and enthusiastically engages with it by licking from the hand. Phyllis Lorraine indicates she wants more by licking the bottle. The rose essential oil is close to her and she can smell the aromas. She has an open gape to her mouth which may indicate she is using her vomeronasal organ. When she has taken the amount of rose hydrolat she wants she lays down, the rose oil remains close to her. When she has had her dosage she walks away & lays down to process what she has taken. This was a very deep lovely session for Phyllis Lorraine, so interesting. A great learning opportunity! Phyllis Lorraine is engaging with Valerian root. She had been engaging with Valerian hydrolat, ingesting a large amount which was offered by Barbara. Then she was offered valerian essential oil by Jenny which she engaged with. What was so interesting to watch was how Phyllis Lorraine then choose to position herself between valerian essential oil and the valerian hydrolat. Working with the essential oil and having the hydrolat applied to her lower back. This was a very deep lovely session for Phyllis Lorraine, so interesting. A great learning opportunity! I never tire from seeing the amazing responses from our dogs to the remedies offered. Remembering every dog is an individual!
