This handsome chap is Luca. He has been with us quite a while but has had virtually no interest. He is a 1 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. As you can see is a very happy and playful boy. He is still very young so will still require some basic training. He will definitely benefit from lots of walks and lots of playtime to help keep him occupied. A home with no other dogs or children would be best.

She has loads of energy and loves to go out for walks and explore, as well as getting attention from her favourite humans. This big bundle of fun is Gus. He is 1 year 6 months old. Breed still unknown 🤷♂️😂. This handsome boy is still looking for his forever home. Preferably an active home who can match his energy. He loves getting out and about and walks nicely on the lead. He is very affectionate and loves to play with his cuddly teddies. As you can see he loves running around on the grass and chasing after his toys so a garden that he can call his own is just what he needs! Say hello to Merlin. He is a 3 year old Lurcher who is looking for his forever home. This loving and gentle soul would be best suited to a quiet home with no other animals or children. He is very easily spooked by loud noises or sudden/unexpected movements. Once he realises that you aren't scary he will follow you around and if you sit with him he will happily come over and sit with you or even stand on your knees if you sit on the floor as shown in the video. This seems to be his little safety spot. He will need a patient owner who understands the type of home he needs. He needs to build a lot of confidence which will take time.

The weather has been a bit doom and gloom at times today but this didn't stop the beautiful Oakley from having a great time in the play pen. Oakley is very inquisitive and adventurous. He loves playing with his toys. He's also very affectionate and will happily sit by you for strokes and scratches! He has been socialised with other dogs since arriving at Stray Aid and seemed very comfortable within their company so could possibly live with other dogs as well as older children.
Oakley is a 2 year old male lurcher and would love to meet you!

This morning we have had Milo and Autumn out for a little play date together. Milo the the grey and white lurcher who is 3 year old and Autumn is the tan colour lurcher who is only 1 year old. Milo has been quite popular and we have some applications in already for him but Autumn doesn't seem to have any yet.
When Autumn first arrived she was very nervous and quiet and was quite shut down but she is quickly coming out of her shell as you can see! She is also very confident when around another dog. They both seemed very happy being in each other's company.

Both Archie and Sabrina had a lovely play date this afternoon. We absolutely love getting dogs out together like this for a play in the enclosure to help with their socialisation which helps them massively moving forward going into their forever homes. Both dogs behaved good as gold and seemed very comfortable around each other 🐶😍

A friendly and affectionate girl Willow can be a bit excitable and can occasionally give you a friendly nip. She likes to give her favourite people a good wash.
Her favourite position is on your shoulders so that she can see what's going on in the world. Willow can be nervous of loud noises so we're looking for a quiet adult only home. She would be happy as an indoor only cat.
Willow doesn't want to share affection with others so a home where she will be the only pet will suit her best.
We've also had Morgan out in the play pen today. Morgan is a 1 year 2 month old German Shepherd. As you can see he absolutely loves to play. Squeaky toys are his favourite and he loves playing fetch with them. When we first introduced him to toys he wasn't quite sure what to make of it but just look at him go now! This handsome young lad is still looking for his forever home. An active home where he can get plenty of exercise would be ideal. He could possibly live with other dogs but no children.
