This year marks two very important events for us as a charity, June will see us commemorate the 10th year of Christopher's passing, along with what would have been his 30th birthday in October. We have a special calendar of events lined up for this very special year and hope to make this our biggest year yet!
Over the last 9 years we have been overwhelmed by those of you who have helped us keep Cookie's memory alive by helping us make a difference in the aspects of his life that he cared passionately about, and have raised over £100,000 in the process which in turn has helped us do the following...
🩸Make IV treatments less painful, by providing as many local hospital wards with vein finders, to date and with your support we have donated 24 of these into the local area = £59,215.
❤️ Helping families with support grants = £9,067.
🫱🏻🫲🏼 Working with other local charities to help with shared goals = £5,624.
👫🏼 Provided funding towards to Spiritualist Centre, Drop in Centre Garden & Sanctuary Garden areas at the new Hospital for Sick Children = £30,000
🩺 Provided specialist equipment into local GP surgeries and hospital wards = £8,070
We have some core values that we are still aiming to achieve, but over the coming weeks we are so excited to share even more community based projects with you. Of course this could never been achieved without you guys, and we really hope that you join us again this year for the amazing, fun and typical 'Cookie' style events we have lined up for you.
