Just to clarify about the acquisition of Orijen & Acana by Mars:
Whilst the deal has been 100% agreed, it will only be finalised in the first half of next year.
Until then, at least, the foods should be entirely unchanged and even afterwards there's no reason to assume they will immediately start reformulating everything.
Only time will tell, of course, but rest assured we'll be keeping a very close eye on the situation and if anything does change at any point, you'll be the first to know!

Good morning, unfortunately Jacob and I have decided to close the shop. Family illness and Jacob’s graduation from University play a major part but also the price of electricity the shop is being asked to pay.
The shop will be closing at the end of the month. The last day of trading will be the 29th October 2022
Could I take this opportunity to thank you all for you support especially over the last couple of years.
We feel gutted but really do not have any other option.
Anyone who wants to continue with Empire K9 and can store 50 small chubs or 10 large 3lb one's please get in touch with us. Nutriment purchases can still be purchased locally and in some cases delivery is still an option, again please message us.
Our natural treats, Doodlebone apparel, Christmas treat boxes and other items will be available shortly after closing from Truly Scrumptious Cafe at Alden grange Fishing Lakes in Bear Park Durham.
The cafe is dog friendly and situated on the old railways lines around Durham. It’s frequently used by dog walkers and the cafe is dog friendly inside and out.

Delivery of Benyfit Natural has arrived 😁 We have only stocked this brand for a few weeks but it's been selling really well so glad to say it's here to stay. Quite a chunky texture with some great varieties like Goose & Rabbit.
