Over the years me and Max have been on many walks and met many friends, human and dog�. I’m currently studying canine behaviour and dog training which I find very beneficial in my every day to day dog walks, being able to read dogs body language and have a thorough understanding of dogs . ��

I love Walter 💗🥰💗🐶 It’s been two months since I started walking Walter, and he is an absolute Joy 🐾 🥰While we enjoy our solo walks for now , Walter loves embracing new friendships, whether it’s with other dogs or the people we meet along the way . Once he knows you, he never forgets—and it’s clear from the many human friends who now fondly greet him by his name🐶❤️

With his bright fun personality and growing confidence, Walter has become a much-loved woof of Pawfect Sense ❤️🐶❤️

Focusing today on using their noses to explore and problem-solve. Here are some fun scent games you can try at home to get your woofs using their sniffer:

1️⃣ Treat Hunt: Hide treats around your house, garden or yard and let your dog sniff them out. They’ll love the challenge!
2️⃣ Find the Favorite Toy: Hide your dog’s favorite toy and ask them to find it , make this easy at first . Reward them with a play session when they find it 👍
3️⃣ Cup Game: Hide a treat under one of three cups and shuffle them around. Let your dog use their nose to figure out which one has the treat!

Not only are these games fun, but they also help your dog stay engaged and fulfilled—perfect for rainy days or when they need a little extra mental exercise.

Since Walter’s still a young pup,it’s good to focus on teaching him some manners while letting him enjoy himself. It's all about balancing fun with boundaries—keeping his excitement level in check so he doesn’t get too overstimulated. With room for play and plenty of pauses for calm moments, all dogs had a great time, Worked on letting Walter have some fun while respecting the other dogs’ space and consent, which kept the walk enjoyable and stress-free for everyone. 😄 So proud of how they all did 💗🐶💗🐶💗🐶💗 especially Walter —puppy energy with a touch of manners! 💖

Love “touch” cue for many reasons, easy to learn as most dogs like to use their nose. Boost recall in encouraging your dog to run back in fun to place nose on your hand, rewarding interaction. Good distraction. Builds confidence for shy dogs 🐶❤️🐶
