Summer is thirteen and thrives on her structured walks. With her gentle walks combined withfun games and a simple task of carrying a dummy she stays focused, confident and calm 💗💗
No fuss, no bribing, just clear communication and solid training in action. You don’t want to be teaching “drop it “ for the first time when your dog has found something questionable 🤨 I did laugh when Walter spat the bag out 😂
Lilly Moo and Max working together as a team 🐶🐶
They’re fully engaged, listening intently ready for their cue.
They thrive on both the physical and mental challenge 😀
Agility jumps for Lilly and quick switches from a down to a upright touch with ease 🥰
Fun is key 💗
"Here’s Walter, working hard on his impulse control and focus! 🐾 In this short fun training session, Walter holds a sit-stay as I turn my back and walk away – a big challenge for any dog! I place tiny treats on a bench at a distance, and once I give the ‘find it’ cue, he eagerly uses his nose to search, staying calm and focused even with other dogs walking past. This type of exercise helps build patience, self-control, and trust between dog and handler. If you’re looking to improve your dog’s training, feel free to get in touch!"
Today, Walter adolescent Labrador nailed his training session at the park! 🐾 We practiced staying focused around distractions like people and dogs nearby using fun patterns, pace changes, and his favorite food rewards. It’s all about building his focus and impulse control while keeping training fun and engaging. Great progress, Walter! 💗🐶🥰
After a lovely morning with my regular morning dogs 🐶🐶🐶🐶Had a lovely late afternoon in one of my favourite places Richmond 🥰 Best of all a delicious coffee 😊 The simple things ❤️
Love using agility to channel natural energy, sharpen communication and provide physical and mental outlet for dogs. For a breed like a Cockapoo, who are intelligent, energetic and eager to please, agility is fun to do.Lilly 🐾🐶🥰clearing 4 jumps on one cue
Play isn’t just fun—it’s a great way to strengthen your bond, build focus, 🎯and reinforce recall skills. These are essential for safe and enjoyable off-lead walks in public places like parks. A dog that loves engaging with you is more likely to stick close and respond, even around distractions.Fun and training combined create a happy, confident dog ready for any adventure!🐶💗 Beautiful Amber
Since Walter’s still a young pup,it’s good to focus on teaching him some manners while letting him enjoy himself. It's all about balancing fun with boundaries—keeping his excitement level in check so he doesn’t get too overstimulated. With room for play and plenty of pauses for calm moments, all dogs had a great time, Worked on letting Walter have some fun while respecting the other dogs’ space and consent, which kept the walk enjoyable and stress-free for everyone. 😄 So proud of how they all did 💗🐶💗🐶💗🐶💗 especially Walter —puppy energy with a touch of manners! 💖
Feeling spooky over the Park this evening 👻 Lilly and Max didn’t seem to notice 👀
Love “ touch cue”
Love “touch” cue for many reasons, easy to learn as most dogs like to use their nose. Boost recall in encouraging your dog to run back in fun to place nose on your hand, rewarding interaction. Good distraction. Builds confidence for shy dogs 🐶❤️🐶
