What a fantastic weekend! 🎉

A massive thank you to everyone at Birmingham and West Midlands Koi Society for putting on another incredible show. It was brilliant to catch up with familiar faces and meet so many new ones too!

Huge congratulations to Si Ellis for taking Grand Champion with a stunning Sanke – well deserved! 🏆🐟

And of course, a big thank you to everyone who stopped by and made a purchase over the weekend — your support means the world to us.

What a cracking first show day, even the sun came out and the greenhouse was lovely and warm. Hats off to Birmingham and West Midlands Koi Society there was a great atmosphere and the standard of koi is incredible. Even though we sold a lot today don’t panic, we still have loads of great deals on koi and dry goods so pop down tomorrow.

The simple things. Even the smallest parts on a pond system can make a huge difference. On a pond clean today you can see what happens when a cheap non stainless steel jubilee clip is used. Over time it has rusted until it had completely perished and could no longer secure the pipe. Although this may not seem a big problem, it could have devastating affects to your pond and fish. If the pipe had come off the pump there would have been no filtration or oxygenation to the pond, which if left unchecked can easily lead to fish death. Saving 50p - £1 could cost a lot more further down the line.
