Welcome back Sarah.
Finally back in the saddle and with a beautiful new horse.
Say hello to Chunky.
It's taken a few years to find one but he really looks and plays the part.
Lucas had a little try on him tonight. He was good as gold.

Well done to Leander and Terry.
It was Leanders first ever show and although nervous, she did extremely well getting a 3rd and second in her two classes.

Some sad news today.
Some of you will know Rocky. He worked in the riding school for over 10 years.
Today he passed over into his after life.
He was blessed with a full and wonderful life. He was the favourite of many children and loved by all.
He had the kindest nature of any pony I've ever met. Cheeky and definitely suffered from little man syndrome.
He knew his job inside out and upside down.
Never spooked, bolted or bucked.
He was one in a million and we are so proud to have known him.
After retiring from the riding school, he went to live with a friend near Manchester, where he has spent the last 7 years with a young girl called Isla and a field buddy called Harry.
He has been very well cared for and wanted for nothing.

He's lived a long and happy life, always loved and well cared for.
Sadly old age got the better of him and his time had come.
Not many Ponies get to live the life he had and reach the Grand Old Age of 39.

Huge thanks to Emma Harding and her daughter Isla for taking such great care of him and for giving him the dignified and compassionate onward journey he so rightly deserved.

He truly was a one off. The kindest and most gentle, Gentleman who has touched the hearts of so many children and adults alike.

Heaven has gained the most perfect of angels.
A real legend.

Brian keeps going from strength to strength . He's showing a calm and level head towards schooling. Today Meggie had the pleasure of taking him over some trotting poles. They both did great .

A little behind the scenes look at what happens here during the week. Brian. The latest addition to the school team has undergone intensive schooling for the last four weeks. All credit goes to Hannah Mills who has managed to get this horse to where he is now. Your hard work has paid off . Well done. Here are some videos of Hannah and Brian in action .

11 year old Theo riding Brian. This horse really looked after him today and while Theo was initially nervous . He soon realised he had nothing to worry about. Well done to you both .

Alfie is proving to be a cracking little rider and managed to pull off some cracking jumps today. His flatwork ia getting very good and he goes from strength to strength. He is allways laid back and keen to learn . The video is of Alfie riding Summer who is without doubt his favourite.

Only Adams second lesson and he really is getting to grips with his rising trot. Bridget looked after him well today. Well done to you both.

Today was a sad day for us. We said goodbye to Katie Paige. Katie has been riding with us since we opened. We have had the pleasure of knowing her since she was eight and over the years she has turned into a fine young Lady as well as a cracking rider. I have loaded a few photos taken over the years. We will all miss you and wish you the best of luck with your rowing. Please pop back and see us anytime you wish xx
