Dogs rely on us to keep them safe, entertained, and occupied during the day. We control and dictate a lot about what our dogs do during the day, what time they eat, when they go out for walks, what toys they have, and when and if they have access to playing with or engaging with other dogs, or exciting things in the environment like water, mud, or underbrush. Dogs thrive on structure, routine, and clear expectations. (Even Max!).

Dogs are usually happy to let us take the lead, but it can be fun, and enriching when time and space allows, to give your dog the opportunity to take the lead and make decisions about where you walk!
This was that day for Max!!

We sat and watched the world go by at Exmouth Beach today, some sun and a bit of rain.

An elderly gentleman was handing out dog treats to those (owners) who accepted, of course, I accepted on Max’s behalf, twice!

We were joined by a lady on a mobility scooter, on holiday visiting family. We were later joined by the rest of the family, if it hadn’t started to rain I think we could have chatted all day!

🐾📣 Hold my leads 📣🐾

Adam and I are expecting a baby at the end of September.

I was hoping to fit an extra month of dog walking in during August, however my body is tell me I need to slow down and take it easy. Meaning my last dog walk for a while will be end of July.

Life has been a rollercoaster for the past serval months; new location, missing all my clients, the sudden loss of my dad, a new job, navigating emotions, and the discovery of my pregnancy. Plus the multiple trips to see health care professionals to ensure we’re both fit and healthy, but we’re all good 😊

Following my new part time job role, my bout of covid, clearing my late father’s possessions from Wolverhampton, and then gone down with a cold (and now cough). I had the pleasure of walking Hettie today. 🐶

Max has been very patient this week, while I’ve suffered with covid. A little longer to go before we’re back out on adventures but recovering now. 🐾🥾
He’s made a good subject for taking photos, even mid scratch!

Yesterday consisted of a long drive to St Austell for induction and training for my new job, today I’m on site 😁
