We have around 150 pigeons in our care; more than two thirds of these are disabled or unreleasable due to illness, whilst the remaining individuals have all recovered from their injury or illness but choose to stay and call this home, forming the free flying flock.

Seeing them enjoying flight once again is an amazing feeling - as well as knowing they have a safe home to return to at night.

Needless to say, the pigeons get through a lot of seed (nearly 40kg per week), and a fantastic way to help us is to donate their favourite food (Harrison’s Premier Wild Bird Seed) from Isle of Wight Bird Foods.
