The size of this newly born cream Cali sow 😍I wasn't able to take any decent pictures tonight, but 3 sows and one boar. So now we have Cali pups in every colour 🧡

So it seems one pops and the other follows! Very chunky trio of Calis born 10 minutes ago. Can't wait to see them start pointing up in the next few days. The goldens look as if they'll point choc, sow may stay self golden but will have to see. White has dark lacing on the ears so will be a black point 🤍

One VERY overdue (2 weeks over) chunky litter of Rex. All at a huge 90-120g. Definitely wasn't expecting the black or white Cali, looking at the pedigree on both sire and dams side the last Cali was 4 generations ago. Sires grandad was a champion self black which has been carried over to one of the boars. And then the Silver agouti carried over from Molly and Winnie. They will all be available to reserve from 3 weeks old.

The heartbreaking reality.. This morning I suddenly lost one of my orphaned pups. He was two weeks old and showed no signs of illness, he was gaining weight and doing everything he should've. His brother is still mourning, but I've paired him up with a 6 week older and he seems to be doing better. Just goes to show that no matter how hard you try, things can quickly turn without a warning. Rest in peace my little Rupert, give Brulee a big hug from me 💔

Sadly lost my sweet Brulee shortly after starting her on antibiotics, so I'm having to hand rear these two. They wake me every hour and a half at night for feeding, but it's worth every minute.

Brulee's been to the vet, she's got a severe URI and refusing to eat, she's also not lactating, so I've got to step in and hand feed both her and the boys every two hours. It's going to be a long night..

4 cream cali pups born today, 3 boars and a sow. Although the sow and a boar were born sleeping, I'm keeping an eye on the other two as they're very weak 😔
