Puppy Classes Are Back!

Come join us to for a 6 week training program designed for young dogs, typically between 8 weeks and 6 months old. These classes focus on basic obedience, socialization, and foundational skills to help puppies grow into well-behaved adult dogs. Common topics covered in puppy classes include:

Socialization
Basic Commands
Leash Training
Manners

Puppy classes are a great way to bond with your new pet and set the foundation for a happy and well-mannered dog.

Finally managed to grab a photo of Monty! He is always sooooo happy to be here he’s usually too excited to sit for a photo but I managed to grab a couple quickly! Smart boy! X

Here we have the lovely Leia! It took a few grooms but we have got to a stage where she will just about let me trim her face nicely! Being groomed is not her favourite past time but with lots of cuddles and patience we managed a nice result and here she is looking lovely and tidy 🙂 x

Another Romanian rescue today Billie, he was a little nervous but really needed a good summer trim up! Matts be gone! Lots of patience and cuddles! Now he can see and he’s feeling like a bouncy pup again! and a lot cooler just in time for summer 😎 x

Poppy after a good bath a trim up looking fresh and bright 🙂 she’s a Romanian rescue so she’s not the easiest not keen on face being trimmed but I did as much as she was comfortable with and came out looking lovely and smart! X

If you spot a dog on the lead or wearing yellow, there is one small thing that you can do that will truly transform their day.
Give them some space - A little distance goes a long way.
Dog wearing yellow need space and it can be for a whole host of different reasons.
They might be injured or in pain, they might be scared of dogs or people, they might find children frightening.
I know you might be curious to learn more, but please don't approach.
When things that scare our come too close it makes them feel like a threat.
That's why you might see us bark, lunge or show our teeth.
We're just trying to make the scary thing go away.
When we can see these scary things at a distance our humans help us learn that they're not so scary after all.
But it takes time. And patience.
And my humans are trying really hard to show me how safe the world is.
Will you help and keep your distance?
