What a heartbreaking couple of weeks we’ve had, as we also said goodbye to our old lady of the group, Millie 💔🌈. Never allowing herself to admit getting old Millie was one of our craziest pups from day 1, always first to the ball or the biscuits! She’ll be so deeply missed.

Another heartbreaking day as our Miss India crossed over the rainbow bridge 💔🌈. Always the boss of the pack, making sure all the dogs stayed in line, India will be so sorely missed by myself and all the dogs, but most of all by her brother Hugo 💔.

Yesterday Opie, our handsome founding member of the beagle squad, crossed over the rainbow bridge 🌈💔. The biggest drama queen and the craziest of all the dogs, getting zoomies started with the full group at any given moment, it’s safe to say we will all miss him bringing the fun to his walks! 💔

Two new besties for our group this morning - Atlas and Zeus! The boys fitted in so quickly with the rest of the gang! 💕🐾

This is a bit of a strange thing to be recommending, but I feel it could be really helpful to lots of people if and when the time comes to say goodbye to your pups.

As many of you know, we had to say goodbye to Rocky just before Christmas.
Rocky always hated the vets, and so we knew that we didn’t want his last memories to be going into the vets, sitting in the waiting room feeling anxious and upset.
So when the vets told us it was his time, I looked into someone who would come to the house and put him to sleep in the comfort of his own home.
I was recommended to try
The girls came to the house, and instantly made Rocky feel comfortable, coming down to his level and giving him treats. The whole family were able to be there, and we sat around his bed, and were able to cuddle him and hold his paw while he drifting off to sleep for the last time. After a few minutes leaving us alone to say our goodbyes, the ladies then took him away with them, all very discreetly. It was the biggest comfort to know how settled and not stressed Rocky was in his last moments.

And today I received a hand written card from them offering their condolences but reminding us that Rocky had a great life filled with love.

So like I say, it’s a strange thing to recommend, but if it can help anyone to ensure that when the time comes (hopefully many many years away) their dog is as comfortable as they can possibly be then I would definitely recommend giving these ladies a call. 🌈🐾

Hitting 10 years of Roundabout this year was such a big moment for us, we can’t wait to see what our 11th year will bring with all our fluffy best friends and our wonderful, supportive customers!

Hope everyone has a great night however you are celebrating and we’ll see all the pups on the 8th for another year of walks, play, cuddles and love! 🥰🐾
