Please remember all vaccinations and Kennel cough must be up to date and administered a minimum of 2 weeks prior to arrival at the Kennels/Cattery. As soon as your pet has had their annual boosters please send Wendy over a photo so we can update our records accordingly.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPDATED JULY 2024

Deposits and Cancellation Policy
In busy periods such as; School Summer holidays, School Christmas & New Year holidays, School Easter holidays and School Half-Terms, all customers will be required to pay a 25% deposit.
Deposits will secure your booking and act as an administration charge and are Non Refundable.
If we receive written cancellation between 14 and 28 days of your booking we will transfer the deposit over to your next booking.
If we receive written cancellation with less than 14 days prior to your booking then 50% of the boarding fee is payable.
If we receive written cancellation with less than 7 days prior to your booking then 100% of the boarding fee is payable
If deposits are not received within 7 days of us receiving your booking; by debit card, direct bank transfer or cash, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and put the dates back in to general release.
You will be advised if a deposit is required and cancellation fees are at our discretion.
There is a minimum charge of 1 week during busy periods unless previously agreed. If agreed then the full amount is payable on booking and non refundable.
If you change your collection date on arrival or within 2 weeks of commencement the original amount will still be charged.

Daily Rates and Payments:
You will be advised of your daily rate, please note between the months of November and April we charge a £1 supplement per day for extra heating charges. All prices are subject to change at our discretion.
We do not charge for the administration of medication, laundry or lead walks unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Fees are charged at a daily rate, inclusive of arrival and departure day. Should either the prior collection of an animal, or any reduction to the original booking period occur, the reserved occupancy fee will be charged.

Payment is required in full before your booking commences. We accept cash, debit cards and direct bank transfers.
Christmas, Boxing & New Years Day Supplements
All customers will be charged a supplement for Christmas Day. The supplement will be double fees for this day only. We are closed to the public on Christmas Day and New Years Day. We allow collection and drop off on Boxing Day between the hours off 10am and 11am only.
All other Bank Holidays will be subject to our Sunday hours trading.

Vaccinations:
Prior to your Pet’s arrival at the Kennels / Cattery we will require to see a current vaccination certificate. This must show a booster vaccination having taken place within the last 12 months and signed off by a qualified Veterinary Surgeon. been administered as part of a course of vaccinations. Dog Vaccinations must safeguard against the following diseases: Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parainfluenza. Cat Vaccinations must safeguard against Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis, we do not insist upon the vaccination for Feline Leukaemia.
All Vaccinations must be administered a minimum of 2 weeks prior to boarding.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to any animal that fails to have all the required vaccinations accompanied by an up to date certificate.

Kennel Cough Vaccinations:
All dogs must have a current Kennel Cough (Infectious Tracheobronchitis) vaccination. Your dog must have this at least 2 weeks prior to arrival at kennels. This is NOT part of your annual booster vaccination. If you are in any doubt, please check with your vet.
Flea Treatments:
All Animals must be covered by a known flea treatment, such as ‘Frontline’, ‘Stronghold’ or ‘Advantage’ before they are boarded. These products have varying lengths of effectiveness. Animals that arrive with fleas will not be admitted.

Worming:
An effective Wormer, such as ‘Drontal’ or ‘Panacure’ must have been administered to any Dog or Cat prior to boarding. This should be taken at least a week before coming into the Kennels / Cattery. Please check with your Veterinary Surgery on how long each product will protect your Pet.

Notification of Medical Conditions:

If an animal has a medical condition of any sort we must be notified at the time of booking. If we have not been notified of such a condition or course of medication, we reserve the right to refuse admission. If a cat has previously suffered from Cat flu it will not be accepted.
Should it be necessary at our discretion for a vet to be called or pet transported to a veterinary practice for any existing health condition prior to boarding, all fees incurred are the responsibility of the owner.

Aggressive / Destructive Temperaments:

We do not encourage animals with aggressive or destructive temperaments. In cases where animals are left that prove to be aggressive towards other animals or staff, or destructive to our facilities, we will contact you to arrange their removal. All damage caused by an animal to any area will be chargeable.
We also have the right of refusal if we feel that the animal is of any condition that would affect the health and safety of our other guests or staff.

Diets
Prior to your pet arriving at the Kennels / Cattery you will be asked what your Pet is fed on. Although we stock a vast choice of pet foods, it is your responsibility to make sure we stock what your Pet is fed on. We strongly recommend your Pet be kept on the same diet. If we do not stock the food you feed, we would normally request you bring enough for the duration of your Pet’s stay. No discount is given for supplying your own food.

Belongings:
All belongings left on the premises are entirely at the clients risk. Any bedding supplied by the client must be clean and parasite free. We take no responsibility for chewed or damaged bedding. We also take no responsibility for lost or damaged toys.

Socialising:
If you do not wish your pet to socialise with other dogs whilst it is in our care you must inform us when you arrive at the kennels.

PLEASE NOTE
Whilst every possible attention is given to animals in our care, all animals are boarded entirely at the owners risk.

When leaving your pet with us you agree to comply to the above terms and conditions of our business.
Please keep a copy for your own records.

When possible we like to take your dogs out for a short walk or a run in the exercise area on arrival at the kennels,if for some reason we are unable to do this,your dog will have to go straight into it's allocated kennel.Therefore it's very important that your dog goes out to the toilet before you bring him or her here,if you dog messes in their run on the first day, in our experience this will carry on for the duration of their stay.This is not good for your pet or us,thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
