🩵 We are closed for now but not for good 🩵
Story time. This will be a lengthy one so bare with.
We went away for a few days and in that time lost a fair bit of water due to our ever growing patchwork liner 🤣 so we decided it was finally time to replace it. Yes, if we knew what we do now we would have just stayed closed for longer and replaced it when we did all the refurbishments, but in all honesty we were desperate to get back open and we were running out of money. Hindsight is a wonderful thing right?
So we ordered the liner and got to work stripping the pool down. First of all the liner was delayed by about a week 🙈 then the pool guys came in to have a look and bam, the pool is in really bad condition, rusted like crazy, the worst they’ve seen 😱 they have said it’s at least 10 years old (it’s only been in for 2/3 years and we only took it over in April) so this was really not the news we were expecting! P.S. this is no hate to Jess and Ally, they weren’t to know just like we weren’t!
So this is where the fun begins, the pool is not strong enough to replace the liner 😭 it just wasn’t going to happen! Our only option was to knock it down and start again 🤦♀️ = more time being closed
Now this is where it gets exciting, we are starting again! and it will be bigger and better! plus it will have commercial grade liner so no more patchwork (that’s the most exciting bit for me 🤣) but also a better ramp, proper steps in, it will be a lot easier to clean because there won’t be any wrinkles, the list goes on.
Please just understand we are closed not because we want to be and can’t be bothered but because our hands are tied, we have no choice! I absolutely love watching your doggos swim and to be quite honest, we need the money, we are a business after all! We WILL be back open again as soon as we can and I’ll be back to working 7 days a week to fit you all in and get my doggy fix 🐶
Most of you have been so lovely and completely understanding, we are forever grateful for this 😊 I know my communication is not amazing at the moment and I apologise for this. We are down the unit working in any spare time we have, as well as normal family life. I’m not going to lie, I’m stressed 🙈
