What's in store for Langney Community Centre this week? ⬇️

The Community fridges sessions are on as usual Tues 1pm-3pm and Wednesday 10.30- 12. The Community cafe was buzzing last week!

Family Fun Gatherers are in with their soft play session Wednesday 10.30 12

LatchOn - Breastfeeding support Eastbourne will be running Weds 12.30 to 2.30pm

Friendship cafe carries on through the holidays Thurs 1pm-3pm. The cake was amazing last week 🍰.

Eastbourne Scrap Store is open Tues- Sat with a variety of activities and ideas.

Want to help prevent food waste? 👍 At Langney Community Centre the Community Fridge and shop will be open Tues 1pm- 3pm and Weds 10.30-12

Each week FareShare Sussex & Surrey helps prevent food waste by collecting and delivering food to Community fridges around the county.

The Fridge and shop is open to everyone and makes your food budget stretch that little bit further

🚂 TOOT! TOOT! 🚂
This weekend it was 'all aboard' when the Trainmaster stopped at the Langney Community Centre Station.
There were squeals of delight and giggles aplenty (and that was just the dads allegedly helping their little ones 😉).
If you're looking for something memorable for a birthday party or special occasion, check out their page at Trainmaster Sussex & West Sussex
And don't forget that our main hall is big enough for all the trains and oodles of tracks - drop us a line of you're booking one of their train themed parties and need a venue...
Hopefully we'll be seeing the Trainmaster back at Langney Community Centre very soon 🚂

The Langney Community Centre is filling up nicely with a range of activities and groups (but there is always room for more - so do get in touch with your idea!)

Everything was back in full swing this week. The Eastbourne Scrap Store are busy busy busy. Family Fun Gatherers are having fun and games in their sessions ( Human bowling was entertaining 😂)

The party bookings are going well, thanks for recommending us to others 👍

Every week I am lucky to get the chance to talk to people, to share what the centre has to offer and get feedback on what we are doing right and how we can improve. I am always up for a cuppa and chat ☕️

Our large hall is available to hire for birthday parties.

For £60
🎉 you have 3 hours, to set up, have your party and pack away,
🎉full use of the kitchen, tea, coffee and squash for children,
🎉access to the sound system ( you arrange your own entertainment)

🥳We also have a under 5's small soft play package for £20 extra. ( +£30 deposit which is returned when equipment is checked)🥳

Wednesday's are full of activities and support for mums and carers
Join the Little Cubs Toddler Group from 10.30 to 12 ran by Family Fun Gatherers .
Then at 12.30 join Latch on Breastfeeding Support until 2.30pm
To finish the day Little Lions afterschool club is on from 3.30 to 4.30

The Community Fridge and cafe will be open again on Tues 1pm to 3pm and Weds 10.30 to 12 midday.

Last week over 50 of you helped prevent food from going to waste and made those pennies stretch a little further.

Please note that it is ONE shop PER HOUSEHOLD. By doing this it means that what we have, can go that much further.

We would like to ask you NOT to start queuing before 12 as we do not always have volunteers to let you in before 12.30 and we don't want you getting cold outside.
