This girl Tramp amazes me every time I see her. She was full of tension and lots of myofascia pain as seen with the layers of skin twitching, but her muscle tone is now more relaxed and for the first time out of many sessions (probably my 10th visit now - she has ongoing maintenance massages every couple of months), she led and I worked all body on both sides without her shying away. She almost nudged me to start the treatment when I arrived, I love love love seeing the response from massage 🐾

I had a 3rd massage session with the lovely Rebel yesterday and the relief to see spread across his face is second to none! That’s why I love my job as a clinical canine massage therapist 🐾❤️!
Rebel is a 5 year old ex racer with suspected spinal arthritis as the vet had suggested following an examination from a “back twitch response”. This twitch response was actually myofascia pain radiating down his spinal epaxial muscles and i have isolated the primary area to be a right pelvic hip issue (Rebel told me that very clearly!), which is possibly skeletal or possibly soft tissue. Owner is going to follow up with vets for further investigations but in the meantime Rebel has really benefited from massage therapy addressing secondary myofascia pain and overcompensating issues.

Just set this gorgeous girl up for her show in class at Crufts tomorrow, good luck!
River is a young leonberger who had a strain in her lumbar back muscle. She was excessively stretching. The strain is no longer an issue for River and she continues to enjoy massage, particularly before a show and owner compliments her handling and line following massage.
Throwing in a picture of little boy Marley, he is the youngest member of one of 4 Leo’s in the household 🐾

*** FREE DOWNLOAD!!*** "How do I know if Canine Massage therapy may help my dog?".

We're glad you asked because we've got just the thing! Did you know that there's a really easy way to find out if your dog could be helped with canine massage therapy? Just click the link and you can download 'The 5 Principles of Pain' PDF, free, now! https://bit.ly/3OW5Q4T

* The 5 Principles of Pain was developed by our founder a few
years ago to help dog owners recognise clinical and sub-
clinical signs of pain that can be managed or resolved with the
Lenton Method® of canine massage therapy.

* It consists of 5 categories that breakdown indicators that
canine massage may be a viable therapy for your dog.

* The 5 Principles of Pain can also be used to track the
outcomes, or improvements in your dog, that you see from our
therapy too

* Our method tends to work pretty quickly, usually within 1-3
sessions according to the research by Wi******er University as
published in the Vet Record by the British Veterinary
Association. And if there's no change, we don't continue to
treat. Your dog is our No. 1 priority.

* Share this with your family and friends, it may be just the thing
that helps their dog

* Our therapy is affordable and can also be claimed via PetPlan
and other insurers

* Our ethical approach has positively changed the lives of
thousands of dogs across the world. So, if you are considering
our affordable, results driven therapy for your dog, download

Latest client round up:

What a gorgeous young lady, River is. A 22 month old 42kg (atm!) leonberger girl. owners noticing excessive stretching and reluctance to use sofa as compared to their other leonbergers. She is from a show line and is shown herself.
We had a great first massage session and I found a strain in her illiocostalis (lower back muscle) and she was twitching indicating resulting myofascia pain. This is more than likely the reasons she was displaying certain behaviours.
Owners feedback after first session:

“Hi Sarah. The massage definitely worked, and I felt an improvement on the lead when I showed her at the show the next day, so much so that she won her class. She's also reduced her stretching.”

Here is River relaxed for her masssge

I have seen Sid for a second massage and will continue with a maintenance massage as and when owners see the need. 🐾

This week I saw Buddy for his 3rd massage treatment and in usual Buddy style he was very excited to see me and parade his toy to me. He wanted to play tuggy which owner said he hasn’t done for a while now!
Buddy has had TPLO surgery on both knees and suffers from onset of arthritis.
He has shown great signs of benefitting from massage being more energetic and not so stiff on standing and lying down. I will continue to see him for maintenance massages to maintain the great progress it is giving him.

I have been treating the lovely Tramp who has displayed a lot of myofascia pain all throughout her cervical and thoracic regions and would yelp when touched anywhere near her lumbar region and hind limbs.
Tramp has been an interesting massage case for me, taking some time to adjust to my touch but once settled her face melts with relief 🐾
