My name is Sarah Walton and I am a fully qualified RCVS Veterinary Nurse with a love and passion for dogs, walking and animal care. Being a qualified veterinary nurse gives you the added peace of mind that I will take the greatest care of your pet. Early morning stroll for Jess and strolls during the day but mostly she stayed in and relaxed in the comfort of the air conditioned lounge 😎. Morning walk for Teal, Echo and Willow and even though it was before complete by 11 it was still hot so no crazy racing round.
Morning walk with Ruby and Teal over the park, no photos I forgot my phone 😱, watching all the park runners. Strolls for Jess although she did have the zoomies on the evening walk 😍 afternoon walk on the river route with Ruby, she even had a swim.
Morning walk out with Teal and Willow. Strolls for Jess. Afternoon woods walk, then it was time for Copa to go home, she has been an absolute treasure to look after.
Jess has new pals today, Ruby collected early for her stay and Copa bounded onto the scene this afternoon for her stay. Lots of walks and strolls busy keeping the dogs cool and happy.
Last day for Archie and he made the most of bounding round with his Paws pals. Jess had a more relaxed day with strolls and garden games and a bit of a groom which she enjoyed, especially when she got a fish chew as a reward. Morning walk up the park with Teal. The three boys Harvey, Bruno and Archie were kept in check by Swishy Ruby who ran rings round them 😂. Afternoon walk at Otterbourne Woods with Pepper, Ted and Archie.
Archie and Jess were joined by Little Ruby today. Strolls, garden breaks and cuddles for Jess, a more high energy day for the other two. Morning walk with Hugo and Star. On for a walk with Harvey, Bruno and Diego. Afternoon walk with Maddie, Winnie and Otis up the woods.
Luna arrived early for her day stay and shortly after dear sweet Jess pottered in for the start of her stay. Archie and Luna out with Echo and Teal, so it was very much a black lab walk, hope I gave the right ones back 😂. Lunchtime we stayed in for the chimney sweep man who got a great welcome from Archie, Luna and Jess. Afternoon walk for Archie and Arlo.
Morning walk with Archie up the woods. Then Archie came along to The Barn at Timsbury for a Father's Day breakfast with my Dad, brother and Neice, Archie was such a good boy and just snoozed besides us as we ate and chatted....what a superstar. Afternoon lovely walk out in the forest.
Absolute downpour for the morning walk, so Archie and I dressed in our waterproofs and headed for the woods, halfway through the walk sun came out and we melted 🥵 then it rained again☔. Back for morning coffee then in a break in the rain went to Eastleigh Food festival, Archie having FOMO joined us, he liked the Hog Shack😂. Afternoon walk again dodging the rain at Otterbourne.
Yeah, it's the weekend, it may be grey and wet but Archie knows how to dance in the rain ☔

Archie keen to meet new pals on the walks today, morning walk Teal joined Hugo and Willow, Teal was on her trial walk and passed with flying colours an ex guide dog and will do anything for a treat 😂 afternoon walk up the woods with Ozzy.
Archie enjoyed lots of walks out and about and snoozes on the sofa in between. Morning walk with Star. Harvey encouraged Archie to play and they raced round the field, little Archie and Poppy were busy sniffing and exploring. Afternoon walk with Maddie, well being Maddie it was a crazy spaniel mission😂, I think Archie was, worn out just watching her.

Cuties out on walks today little Pixie who tried to keep up with Maddie. New girl Maude the Italian Greyhound, such a quirky funny girl, small and dainty but with crazy zoomies, Harvey tried and failed to keep up with her 😂, Swishy Ruby thought she was a great new pal. Morning walk with Hugo and Star.
Little Ruby for the day and she was happy bounding about on the walks and grabbing snoozes on the sofa. Swishy Ruby was taken with the handsome Bruno on the morning walk, but Harvey won him back with games of chase. Stanley and Ted out over the woods.

With half term a quieter day today so took the chance of a half day. Morning walk with Harvey, Bruno and Stanley up the woods.
Last day of stay for Swishy Ruby and Ted. Waterproofs all round today in and out of the downpours ☔. Walks at the park and up the woods.
Up early to collect Ted for his stay, headed out for outlr morning walk to Cheesefoot head, beautiful walk with great views. Afternoon walk up the woods and back to dodging the showers ☔
Last day of stay for Milo and Freddie and Swishy Ruby gets me to herself for the evening. Morning walk up the woods avoiding the showers. Milo collected at lunch time. Afternoon walk and we explored Lordswood, not a walk I do much but it was good to explore.
Morning walk up at Farley Mount with Milo, Freddie, Swishy Ruby and Deputy Dawg joined us. Ruby and Freddie chasing about and Milo going at a more sedate pace. Home to rest. Afternoon walk at the woods.
Milo and Freddie starting the day bounding round the fields, collected Swishy Ruby for her stay and headed up to the woods. Cleaned out the van inside and out and we are all having a Friday night chill out now. Happy Bank Holiday weekend everyone 🥰

More fun and games out and about with Milo and Freddie, up the woods on the afternoon walk we saw two Tawny Owls 👀, kept the dogs far away from them and left them in peace but so special to see. Morning walk with Hugo. Harvey and Bruno back together racing round even Diego joined in. Afternoon walk with Maddie and Winnie.

The day Milo has been looking forward to, beach morning. Set off early to Hengisbury Head, lovely beach walk with Milo and Freddie frolicking in the waves living their best lives 🏖️. Back home by noon so they could rest up in the cool. Late afternoon walk in the shade of the woods. They are both fast asleep now.

A great friendship was forged today on tge morning walk with Swishy Ruby and Ozzy, they adored each other 🥰

Ruby has a pal joining her for the week, little Willow. They love being in the company of each other and chased about on the walk, poor Choccy just stood and admired deciding it was too energetic for him 😂
Some have wondered just what the "Find it' game is when I mention it, so took a video today to show Milo who is the master at this, Luna who has perfected it this week (at the start of the week it was all she could do to wait for more than a few seconds) and Dougal who has only just got the idea of the release. Forgive my video skills I am no polished instagrammer 😂 but here is the, 'find it' game in action.

You know when you are in for a crazy day when your morning walk has two crazy doodles on it, at least they wore each other out, we did progress from going round and round the ferns😂
A joy to see, shy Cumby getting more confident and having a play with Harvey, makes being out in the cold and wet all worthwhile 🥰

I often mention the find it game, it is a great game for dogs teaching them impulse control and using their brains and scent work all combined. Here is Milo demonstrating, it is his fav game and so much better than just throwing a ball which long term can damage their joints, cartilage and muscles.
