Lexi
The youngest of our poochie pack is Lexi the jack russell terrier.
Lexi might be the youngest but she sure as hell doesn't take any prisoners when it comes to free play, she makes sure everybody gets involved.

Harry
This gentle boy often gets mistaken for a doodle but Harry is a pedigree wheaten terrier.
Harry is the background boss on Wednesdays. He likes to watch the play from a distance but as soon as he thinks playtime needs abit of structure he likes to put himself in the middle! Harry always rides shot gun in the van 🥰

Rosie
Rosie is one of our newest Poochies pack members and from day one she fit right in. She is one of the most chilled out, well behaved cockerpoos I've ever met. Her favourite thing at daycare is definitely the enrichment activites where she gets stuck in to anything I put infront of her.

‼️⚠️ XL BULLY BAN ⚠️‼️

To answer a few questions….Yes, if you already own an XL Bully, the dog will be classed as a banned breed, and you will have to go through the exemption process to be able to keep your dog under Defra’s exemption rules.

We do not know yet, how they will define XL’s, we can assume it will be similar to how they define Pitbull Type…Measurements and Characteristics.

Our advice, at this time, if you suspect your dog is an XL, get them neutered ASAP, to have your dog exempted, it must be neutered. If it’s not neutered and it’s seized, you will NOT get your dog back until it has been neutered. Better having them neutered now by your own vet than the police approved kennels getting them done. Also, if your dog is already neutered, you may be able to stop your dog going into kennels, there’s the IES (Interim Exemption Scheme) that a few forces use, where you can keep your dog at home, under conditions, until the court date for exemption.

Muzzle train your dog now!! This will prove you’re a responsible owner, and, also prepare your dog for having to keep them muzzled, at all times, in public, this includes in your car etc.

If the police come for your dog..DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING!! They may try to blag you into signing…Oh sign this to say you understand why we are taking your dog. Don’t!! You’ll be signing for them to put your dog to sleep.

We appreciate that this news is frightening for owners 😢 And, many will be angry!! Keep calm at all times with the authorities, they will be judging you and your behaviour as well as your dog!!

At Poochies I build bonds through structure whether that be basic training exercises or enrichment activities.

This builds respect, trust and calmness in what can otherwise be a chaotic pack life.

LEXI ❤️

Lexi started her puppy school journey 8 weeks ago, but transitioned into big school earlier than expected and has been with the mini pack for 6 weeks now.
Small but mighty, she absolutely bosses her time at daycare, joins in with every playtime activity and has excellent doggy etiquette around her peers.
Well done Lexi and welcome to Poochies.

Last week was grad week for the puppies so I didn't want Lexi to miss out on her school photo 📸🐾

LOLA 🎓

Today Lola graduates puppy school here at Poochies.

Over the past 6 weeks she has made friends with all the dogs who she has met, gave her everything in all the training we did and came top of the class in ball games 🙌🏻🤣🥎

As a treat for being the only graduate today she's coming on her first pack walk with us 🐾

Tuesday mini beasts had some newbies join today.
Skye the collie - totes full of beans and can't get enough of play fighting!
Willow the cockerpoo - took a little while for her to build her confidence but let loose in the field and showed us her playful side.
