We were called earlier this morning to a deer found in the road on the A975 near to Slains school in Collieston. The roe buck sadly had multiple fractures to his back leg and a significant head injury. Euthanasia was the only humane option for the poor deer.

Sadly, yet again someone struck this deer and left it in the road to suffer. A piece of the cars bumper was in the road with the deer so it is clear that there was a significant impact for the vehicle as well.

Thankfully a wonderful paramedic on their way to work stopped and reported the deer to us waiting with it until we arrived just 20 minutes later.
