Does anyone worry about Hogmanay and New Year celebration and fireworks after the Bonfire Night ???😔😔
We all doing our best and close the windows and blinds to muffle the sound of the fireworks. We put the lights on and play some music and we create for our loved pets some safe space...
But sometimes even this is not enough and we need calming medications 😔

Recently I came across at Ear Defenders for dogs, someting for everyone budget. They work good with some stretchy hood that would give some extra compression and reduce the anxiety.

🌟🌟MAGIC OF SOCIAL PLAY🌟🌟

Couple weeks ago, we had a workshop with amazing Gentle Team - Alexa Capra and amongst other things we spoke about social play. The important thing we learned it’s that social play is not what we are doing with our dogs when we are playing tug of war and competing with a dog or playing fetch… Of course, we can use a favourite toy during the play but its more about doing things together, being goofy, affectionate and behave silly. Social play is enjoyment of our social relationship🥰

When I started playing with my dog, Zeba was stressed by staying long time in the car and wasn’t able to involve, however following Alexa instructions we started enjoying the play, Zeba didn’t fetch the toy but instead we run and chased the toy together, goofy play relaxed her and my tension and brought many positive emotions 😊🥰

It's not often in Scotland but sometimes we have hot weather 🌞🌞🌞 ...therefore walk your dogs in the morning or in the evening to avoid hot surfaces , hydrate them, take them to the water so they can cool down, give them constant access to water...and generally please look after your dogs like you would care after yourself🥰

Great obiedience workshop during the weekend with Kamal Fernandez 🙂 we received so valuable training tips to improve me as a handler and Zeba to build her motivation for training...but I have also learned so much from every other dog on the workshop as with Kamal's help they were just thriving🙂

It was wet 🌧, it was cold🥶 but definitely worth it 😁🥰.
3 days of Canine Communication Workshop with Paulina Ziolkowska and "Talking Dogs"
