Dapper Dog Accessories

Honestly I've been putting this post off. Its been difficult to come to terms with but I know George met a lot of amazing people through dapper dog as he was my little helper, the feature In most of my videos and my helpful assistant when I went to go stock up the shops, so it really does break my heart having to write this.

On Friday the 29th of November , on his last walk before bed George got attacked by another dog.
Our boy was rushed to the vets and kept fighting for us all through saturday but sadly on the sunday morning the trauma he suffered was too much and he lost his fight.

Devestated is an understatment. We are truly broken without you here and though it's been weeks now to try and get our heads around this tragedy there is still a gaping hole where you should be - there always will be.

George. You touched the hearts of everyone you met, family, friends and even stranger we met on our walks. You were such an innocent, kind natured, patient little soul and you did not deserve this ending to your beatiful life.

You were our world, our light in the darkeness and such a huge part of our story, we've been through so much with you and we just wish you where still here to come on the next chapter with us. Nothing feels the same without your precious little face looking up at us.

I hope you loved your life as much as we loved you. We were truly blessed to have got to share our life with you. I went to the kennels to look for another dog and got handed you, a little scruff looking very sorry for himself, but oh boy how you thrived, you suprised everybody with how much you where able to achieve - I only wish we got to make more amazing memories with you.

George we love you so much and our hearts have been shattered into a million pieces and are going to be forever aching at this tragedy.

Please know you will be forever loved and never ever forgotten, our little Georgie-boy🤍

I honeslty hope noone has to ever suffer the loss of a pet like this, words can't explain the saddness we feel - stay vigilant when out on your walks with your loved pups, you never know whats going to come running towards you and life really can be cruel. 💔

George has had a huge promotion recently in the Dapper Dog family! Big brother responsibilities come with a large payrise in treatos tho so there is benefits💰

This might explain why I've been so quiet on my socials lately... or maybe I'm just using it as an excuse as I've always been really terrible for updating my socials🙈

Either way I wanted to do a little post to let all my lovely customers and amazing maker friends hear the news🤗🐾!

P.s could George's bandana be a whole new range... I'm wondering if this is something people would be interested in?

Unfortunately due to our typical Scottish weather the gala has been altered to the church hall instead of outdoors, this sadly means due to limited space a lot of stalls are not able to attend. But we'd like to thank the Trinity gala team for the opportunity as we know it must have been a tough call to make, and hopefully see you all there next year🤞🐾

If you were interested please still head along as they will still have the brass band, Porto and fi cooking some lovely burgers as well as coffee, home baking, books and bric-a-brac all selling from 12-2pm!

We will be here tomorrow with lots of goodies for you and your pup! With lots of other stalls and activities make sure you pop along - there's even a dog show to show off just how great your bestie is🐕🐾!

Happy to my lil guy 🐶🥰 George you are certainly a one of a kind and you've adapted so well to becoming part of our crazy family (plus part time model for dapper dog😂) I'm sure your use too all the antics we get up to now but there is definitely more to come - thankyou for being our furever faithful companion 🐾❤️
