Amazing!! Hopefully more people being educated will lower the numbers of so many near death/injurys/fatalities with cars and riders.

On Thursday 30th May, Police Scotland’s Mounted and Roads Policing Unit along with the British Horse Society, carried out a road safety initiative ‘Lose the Blinkers’ in the Damhead and surrounding areas of Midlothian. Any drivers who passed horses on the road incorrectly were stopped and educated in addition to any offences being dealt with accordingly. The initiative was also used to promote road safety to horse riders. It was of note that many drivers observed were patient and using a text-book approach when passing the horses.
Please remember to slow and give horses plenty of room when passing

Hello team,

Wanted to say a huge thanks to my amazing team for holding the fort while I’m out of action and running everything so smoothly - your amazing girls!! Also would like to thank all clients for being so understanding and kind. I’m not wanting to rush getting back to work too quick so will be retuning to teaching on Friday 31st.

If anyone missed a lesson last week and looking to book in then please only do so on Friday 31st or from Tuesday 4th June onwards!

Morning team,

Had a really unfortunate fall at a jump clinic yesterday and ended up underneath my horse & resulted in a broken rib and small bleed on my left lung. I’m totally fine just super gutted as it was the last jump and everything was going so well so had to pull out of today’s competition - gutted as it was the first of the season!

I will be out of work/teaching for a week minimum so anyone who has bookings from Tuesday 21st to Friday 24th please can you go onto the app and reschedule to another date.

Doctors have said I can go back to teaching on week two and riding / any other freelance services can be week 3/4 I’ve just to judge it on the pain.

Pony club (weekends) will not change at all and Alison will be there (stable manager) as point of contact while I’m off.

🦄 Stable management - Tuesday to Thursday 3-7pm, Friday 1:30-7pm. Limited slots on weekend days DM for availability.

🦄 Pony Birthday Party’s - Fridays 1:30-7pm & Saturday/sunday 3:30-6:30.

🦄 Unicorn Visit (party/event, nursery, school or care home) - Message for available slots & to book.

🦄 Beach rides & holiday pony camp days are specific to dates and will be posted on social media so keep en eye out - coming up soon for summer ☀️

Would you like to join our Pony club, learn how to care for your share pony and make some pony friends for life??

🦄We have two bi-weekly spaces for horsemanship available on Saturdays 9-12 or 12-3, working through levels 1-5 of pony club (mainly a walk and trot group but suitable for beginners)

🦄Also VERY rare but we now have Two spaces in the Sunday morning weekly group 9-12 (this is walk, trot ,canter & option to compete)
