Little Maple is sweeter than a Salted Maple Caramel Latte, but she’s had a difficult start to life. At just 8 weeks old, she is suffering from mange to due neglect. 💔 Mange is a skin infection caused by mites burrowing into the skin, it results in itchy, irritated skin and serious secondary infections if left untreated. Sweet Maple is in a lot of pain and needs regular treatment, medicated baths and plenty of love and affection to get better. That’s a wrap for 2024! 🎉 We can’t thank everyone who turned up for Community Day enough. Witnessing the incredible turnout of visitors yesterday was truly touching for our team, and the best way to celebrate 140 years of Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home. 🎂 We feel incredibly fortunate to have such amazing supporters, complete with their adorable furry friends. You donated an incredible 1422 meals for dogs and cats in need, and raised almost £4,000 which can keep 40 dogs cosy this Winter 💚 See you next year 🤞 🤩
