When you have a seating plan.
Blackford car park and Milly starts it from the boot.
I'm never changing the seating arrangement again.
The dogs enjoying the frost this week.
Random collar grab for 1 year old Ruby.
Collar grabs and presenting the lead doesn't always mean that the fun stops. Keep it random.
Road walking Miss Bonnie (11 month old West Highland Terrier). I wanted to see how she could handle being road walked without her group friends and away from her local area.
Here I'm using a fitted martingale collar and a biothane lead. I'm not using her harness because we are on a main road and I need full control of the Bonnie incase she jumps or pulls suddenly.
Miss Fern demanding attention. Friday fun at Blackford Hill.
I had some time at the end of the week with 4 year old Donnie so I took my tripod to the park and we tried some play and training games. Donnies owners have done all his lead training and basic commands. He has good social skills with dogs and people. That's all down to their dedication.
Here I am getting Donnie to chase the food then moving him into a nice sit position. He's so smart.
Good job Donnie!

Buddy the Border Terrier who was rehomed a few months. Here he is walking passed people, dogs and kids. It's amazing how some basic training and direction can put a dog on the right path.
When I first met B at his previous owners house he couldn't walk on a lead and was diving all over the place. At 2 years old B had never experienced free running. He didn't have any rules or boundaries, just the same old sh*t I see all the time.
If you don't teach your dog how to behave inside the house why would he behave outside in the real world?
Buddy is work in progress but he is living his best life with his new owners who are dedicated and experienced.
He had a lot of fun at Bark in the Park dog show and would like to thanks the judges for awarding him 3rd in Funniest Face category. I think he has a very handsome face.

I dropped a packet of tissues in the walled garden today, sent Mack (11 years old) out to find them. I just gave him a bit of help since it was pissing down. He didn't know what he was looking for but was told to go find my scent, pick up and hold the article, then retrieve it.
He's not the fastest but he's accurate and he understands each section of the training.
Check out his celebration roll.
Hobbit is late to the party.
