They were a bit disappointed. I forgot their treats today. Decent recall when we saw a jogger.
Well done to the doodles.

Photos of the week
The Family came over for a play date
He didn't notice it, even when it jumped over the fence in front of us.
They have all missed each other. It's only been a week!
Back to walking this week.
Have a Taylor Swift weekend
Another chancer
He's disappointed it's not real.
I tried to video call him for his birthday but he was busy playing in the park. Fair enough.
No one can keep up with Eliza. Small Ted gave it his best shot. His legs just aren't long enough.
Here is a video explaining when I use a collar and when I use a harness.
Rabbitgoo harness from Amazon. It's actually got over 100,000 reviews now!
Milly is wearing a Small, Elvis is wearing a Medium and Reese is wearing a Large.
Hyhug heavy duty anti-escape martingale collar from Amazon. Milly and Elvis are both wearing Small.
Make sure the collars are fitted properly and never leave your martingale collar on your dog when he is unsupervised. I just use the collars for walking.
Traffic leads can be bought from Ebay or Amazon. They come in plain and padded. About £7 each. Another tip.... buy a bright colour not green especially if you have a dog who likes to roll in the grass.
Have a good weekend! 🌞
I had some time to play a game of tug or war with Eliza this week. Buddy the border terrier and Mack joined us.
I love how she is so engaged with me and the game that nothing else matters. She is good at flicking the rope towards me so that the tug part of the game will restart. Break up the tug section with a few Outs and throws. I am letting her win when I feel her tug the toy with more intensity.
Whiplash dog
Eliza is so fast that instead of her running straight towards me I have been working on a flip into heel position. Now she has something to target instead of flying towards her owners which can be a little scary.
I can't help myself. He was walking to the Castel Sant' Angelo where I was meeting a tour group.
Furn stretching her legs in the park.
She's not been off lead that long but she is making huge progress.
Chewie bumps into Harris at the end. He's tries his best but is a little less elegant than his sister.
If its windy then I will use the whistle to recall the dogs.
Photos from this week
No rolling allowed. No time for it today.
Eliza and Arthur playing. She almost whacks him with the ball.
A few snaps from this week
Ted who I'm going to refer to as Small Ted joined us this week. He travelled well in the car and bonded with Harris cavapoo and Bella labradoodle. Harris was showing him the ropes.
Thanks to Arthur's owners for recommending me to Small Ted's owner. Much appreciated.
Roxy Boxer is continuing her training and making progress with lead walking. She loves a game of tug of war on her puppy visits.
Have a good Easter weekend!
Fern is the same dog who I posted a video of a while back. She is a previously owned dog (I don't really like the rescue label). When she arrived at her new home the owners were struggling to walk Fern because she was so reactive to every dog they would pass. I could also see her beginning to react to kids playing football on the other side of the playfields.
Here she is with the group on Wednesday.
She's not perfect but the progress she has made is incredible.
The owners have a training plan if they feel like she could react but she seems cool with most dogs nowadays.
This is me trying to take a video of the dogs playing but they just stopped to hang out instead.
I will post a quick reminder video.
Waffles having fun and showing off to Ramsay Retriever.
Reese very much enjoyed his visit to Loch Leven's Larder .
I counted 7 golden retrievers while we were there.
Happy Birthday to Ramsay. 10 years old today 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈
Photos of the week.
It was quiet at Blackford Hill this morning until we met Hobbit with his owner.
Juno whippet supervising the group.
She said that Elvis cheated.
