Please don't use a harness to walk your dog unless it has a medical issue. We saw another dog escape it's harness. It was a puppy Golden Retriever who was just being curious and came up to the group who were still on leads. We were walking to the park. The young guy who was walking the puppy asked me how do I walk 6 dogs at once and I told him that you start with using good equipment, a martingale collar and a decent quality lead. Having a slip lead on you is also a good idea.
I had a chocolate Labrador who could escape from every collar, he just had a knack for it. He didn't run off but instead stood in front of me smiling and quite proud of himself. I switched to a nicely fitted martingale collar and he never escaped again.

Yeh she was bad this week. It was sorted out straight away and her behaviour was corrected. As you can see she is completely shut down and holds the biggest grudge.

Good Luck to Lamancha Take a Chance on Me JW aka Chance who is travelling over to Ireland for a dog show. His breeder said he was excellent on the boat. I would have been leaning over the side 🤢

Junior Warrant means he has collected points and won his classes at Championship and Open dog shows. Dogs are 6 to 18 months old.

If you are finding your dog difficult to handle at the start of your walk because he is over excited, pulling on lead and not listening then take 1 minute to try and put yourself into the leader position and have your dog follow you. Decide which side the dog will walk on, walk up and down adding in a change of direction. Changing your pace also keeps their attention. You make the decisions.
It's usually the first exercise I do with clients to help them become more in tune with their dog and start working as a team.

Got stopped today and asked what I was doing by a local resident.
I guess our dog training looked suspicious, more suspicious than the 2 young males on an e bike wearing balaclavas.
