Please can you help rehome gorgeous Ollie or Oscar.
We don't normally post things like this but our lovely client Michelle needs your help. Please share.

Michelle says:

"Oscar (Lilac Mink) and Ollie (Chocolate) are 4 year old Tonkinese brothers.

We’ve had Oscar and Ollie since they were 10 weeks old and they are house cats.

They have the occasional spat, but on the face of it seem to live side by side happily. That was the case until approximately 6 months ago when we noticed Oscar had started spraying in the house. Sometimes even urinating – despite there being 3 litter trays to choose from.

When I watched them more closely, I noticed Ollie appears to be intimidating / bullying Oscar. This isn’t always the case, as a lot of the time, I’ll find them cuddled up together in a tiny bed and they still groom one another occasionally.

We cannot continue to live with the ‘messing’ in the house plus, I think Oscar must be quite stressed to be doing this. We have made the difficult decision to re-home one of them.

Oscar – he’s a very cuddly boy. As soon as you sit down, he’ll almost always be on your lap and purring away. He’s such a soft natured boy and he loves tummy rubs (he’ll throw himself down on the floor and await a tummy rub). He has the cutest meow.

Ollie – he too loves a cuddle and is the more vocal of the two."

We all know that households and businesses are struggling with the cost of living. Here at Catseye, it’s no different!
Since January 2023, increases in direct costs – staff costs, cat foods / litter, and of course energy are putting the business under some strain. It’s also the things that you don’t see: such as bank charges, interest, credit card merchant fees, waste disposal, the costs of keeping Catseye in tip-top condition and business insurance are all on the rise.

We would never, ever compromise the quality of service – we’ll not reduce staff hours, cut corners with hygiene standards or restrict the amount of stuff we need to use!

That’s why we have reviewed our fees and a price increase is planned for 1 October 2024.
ALL future bookings made prior to 1 October 2024 will remain at the old rates. So, if you already have a booking with us or you book before 1 October 2024, the new rates don’t apply yet.

The good news is that only the single cat and two cats sharing rates are increasing at this time.

We still believe Catseye offers tremendous value for money, compared to some other local catteries. And unlike some other catteries we have 5 members in team who rely on Catseye continuing to be a success.
