Extrordinair has been transporting animals from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow Airport across the globe for many years! In May 2012 we were approved by DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) to operate the first Animal Reception Centre / Border Inspection Post for small animals in Scotland. Your pets can now travel directly back into Edinburgh Airport with the following approved airlines -

Handsome Blue the Chow Chow flew to the Philippines with KLM last week ✈ It took him a while to warm up to us, but once he did this giant ball of floof was so much fun to be around and loved his cuddles! Blue was delivered home after clearance by our friends at Pet Trans PRO Philippines 🐾🐢 We've had lots of updates on Blue since he arrived and it's so nice to see he's adapting to life in Manila so quickly!

Hi friends, meet Rocco 🐾 This goofy boy travelled from Aberdeen to Qatar and has put a smile on the face of every single person he met during the journey. It's been so much fun having him with us, he was a bouncy ball in the shape of a Labrador, not great at playing fetch, but obsessed with finding sticks. After customs clearance he was safely delivered home and finally reunited with his family! We hope he settles in well and we hope there's plenty of good sticks to be found on his walks πŸ₯°

"Houston, I'm hoooome" 🐾✈ Sweet Georgie flew from Edinburgh to Texas last week and we could not get enough of her πŸ₯Ή She is such as sweet dog, a wee bit timid at first but so full of love once you have earned her trust. We genuinely wish we could have spent more time with her, but our friends at Pets With Passports and her pawrents were waiting for her in the US! We hope she settles in well and hope the American ham tastes just as nice as the Scottish ham πŸ˜‹

Missy travelled from Edinburgh to Dubai with Emirates last week πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ͺ! She is the sweetest dog ever, we've all grown very attached to her in the short time she's been with us, and we hope to see her again soon πŸ₯Ή We hope she enjoys the nice and warm weather in Dubai - definitely beats the wind and cold here! Thank you to our amazing friends at Pawsome Pets UAE for making it a very smooth relocation! 🐾

Travelling with dogs that aren't too keen on other humans can be challenging, luckily Kaiser (left) handled it like a pro 🐾 Vets and airports can be very scary places, with lots of new noises, smells and lots of people wearing hi-vis clothing - but a lot of love, patience and mostly lots of treats go a long way. His sister Mishka on the other hand was absolutely adorable and LOVED cuddles, and I'm sure that helped Kaiser feel a bit more confident around us as well! They flew from Edinburgh to Houston, Texas with Lufthansa and upon arrival they were customs cleared and delivered to their new home by our besties at Pets With Passports πŸ₯° It's always so rewarding to see these dogs change from big scary dogs to giant floofballs, and we hope they settle in well!

🐾🐢 CRATES FOR QATAR 🐱🐾

A while ago we asked if anyone had any crates they would like to donate to our friends at Paws Rescue UK and... WOW 😲! We have managed to collect 76 (!!) crates over the last few months, who have finally gone to their new home today. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who donated their crates after arrival in Edinburgh, liked and shared our posts online, and a special thank you those who have travelled all the way to Edinburgh to drop off their unused crates. It makes a massive difference to the lives of some very lucky street dogs and cats in Qatar... who are now able to travel to their new homes all over the world πŸ₯°

Imagine being in need of a new home and a kind lady from Scotland has offered to adopt you... life couldn't be better for sweet Charlie right now πŸ₯Ή He arrived today from Dubai at Glasgow Airport, where we completed the customs clearance and delivered Charlie to his new home. Such a lucky pup, he'll even have a few friends at home to go and explore his new surroundings with πŸΆπŸ΄πŸ¦† This dog has such a kind soul and we're so happy for him to have found his forever home! πŸ₯°

This gorgeous girl is off to her new home in South Africa, getting her first stamp in her passport at only 10 weeks old! ✈ Moving pets to South Africa is complex as they require lots of tests in advance, but luckily we were able to arrange this with our experienced vets as there is no room for error for a puppy! She was collected from the breeder and enjoyed staying in our office before her departure, and has warmed our laps (and our hearts) πŸ₯°

Whether you are a breeder or a prospective dog owner that has fallen in love with a puppy from abroad, we will be able to guide you through the requirements for travelling with young pets.
🐾 Some pets can travel from as young as 8 weeks, but some countries will not allow pets to travel until as late as 10 months old!
🐾 We can help navigate the complex entry requirements for each country and assist with the application and endorsement of health certificates
🐾 Our pet taxi can collect pets directly from the breeder, and we can even arrange vaccinations & tests with our vets a few weeks before travel, so no extra trips to the vet for the breeder!
🐾 We work with agents all over the world, and can help arrange import permits and customs clearance upon arrival.

✨ Pets travelling on commercial health certificates can now be cleared the same day and no longer need to be boarded overnight!
✨ Pets using our pet-taxi services to transport pets all over Scotland can also skip the sleepover

For most pets, this new flight also significantly reduces the transit time in Amsterdam, meaning you'll be reunited with your pets a wee bit quicker than before 🐾

We looooove a good reunion video 😍! We have to admit, we did shed a few tears of happiness too watching Abba reunite with her family πŸ₯Ή Abba flew all the way from Edinburgh to Australia, and after completing her long quarantine stay in Melbourne she was delivered to Perth by our lovely friends at Jetpets. Abba has now settled in to Aussie life and we're glad to hear she's doing amazing Down Under! 🐾

Speedy Peppa arrived today from South Africa, after a few days away from her Pawrent, she did not want to leave her side, we hope you settle into your new home πŸ₯°

Oh? What's that? It's our friends from Emirates who have returned with a daily flight from Dubai to Edinburgh! 😻 We are very excited to see Emirates return, and we've already got a few furry friends scheduled to fly in and out of Edinburgh. With over 130 destinations, Emirates is not only a great option for pets flying to or from Dubai but for the rest of the world as well! 🐾

Maia departed Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 last week to start her new life in America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ with her pawrent. She was a bundle of joy and loved to make us laugh. We hope you settle into your mew home 🏑
